Great VFM, beautiful model. Proper Rolls-Royce. Thank you, Tom! I’m very happy that I finally bought it! That’s how a Roller should look I agree, 100%

I’ve been tempted by this 1:64 scale model ever since I first saw it and, thanks to AliExpress I found this one for the price of a hamburger (including free shipping) and just couldn’t resist it! 1954 Lincoln Capri, by MiniGT

That looks impressive for a 1/64, I will be eager to see what you think of it when it arrives. 1/64 seems to be the new "thing" but in this part of the world they are the price of a decent main course in a restaurant, not the price of a burger!

That's going to be BETTER than most hamburgers Julio I've spotted the MINI GT brand for a while and have always been impressed. I can see why you went for it! Anyone else here order from the Aliexpress site? I was looking around and also saw some incredible deals, even free shipping I think!

I have done so in the past, but have since found better (cheaper) sources.

Lovely Lincoln, very impressive indeed. I am tempted but AliExpress can be a pain to navigate.

They're local sources who do the odd trade to subsidise their own collection, mostly non-pros like I am.
If you're elsewhere in the world, Aliexpress is great- just read the blurb (avoid if it says 'flawed' or 'no original packaging') and look at the vendor's sales records and reviews (don't buy at less than 4.5 stars). Avoid Cainao Standard Shipping- slow and unreliable. You're not buying from Aliexpress, you're buying from some dude in China. If could be a manufacturer, but it could also be someone with a couple of boxes of stock in his back room.

Not in big buying mode, but might make a few exceptions. Strangely, I'm really attracted to some great 1:64 dioramas! There are items that I've never seen elsewhere, so tempting

There are usually more sellers for each item, so look for the best price including shipping. Check your item carefully on receipt and take pictures before unpacking if there’s damage. If you get a damaged item, don't bother contacting the vendor but go through AE Customer Support. Watch out, some vendors sell QC rejects but it often shows.

I’m sort of new to AliExpress and I often get confused with all the offers and games in their site and, although so far I’ve been lucky with the orders I’ve placed, your advice in more than welcomed!
