Excellent. Would love to read every single volume. That is a series of books I would like to own! Thanks for your comments, gentlemen! I’m half way through the first two books that I’ve bought of this series and I’m quite satisfied, in spite of some translation errors and sometimes slightly erratic chronological order of their photos.

Thanks for sharing Julio, both titles are right at home on your shelves!
Kind of fun to see an Amazon box, the gray truck has not stopped here in ages.

With some of your acquisitions you have reminded me that I should buy the 'Designer' series of books. Bertone, PF, Touring, Zagato are on the wish list.
Instead I have made two serious car book purchases this year. The 'Lamborghini' 2 volume by Gautam Sen and more recently the equally heavy 'Fit for a King' by Borzou Sepasi which I'm presently 350 pages into out of 500. I had been hoping for greater Lambo content.
The eclectic mix and money no object within the Shah's Royal garage is quite an eye opener. Sen has also assisted in the content of this one.I am just getting to the most interesting part of the book and what was discovered in the Royal garages after the revolution. When I've finished reading it I may well sell it. Cost of postage will be enormous though. Haven't seen any reviews of it yet.
As a reference book the pair of Lamborghini volumes by Sen are excellent and definite 'keeper'. I have consulted their content on more than one occasion since reading it's 800 page content earlier this year.
Like Tom I occasionally visit the local Charity Shops (Thrift stores) to buy books on cars, railways, aviation and social history at the other end of the scale. Some I've retained and some I've donated for others to enjoy.

Unfortunately, they are way too expensive. However, I’ll be vigilant for deals to pop up! And, about the Italian designer series, be warned, although they are enjoyable, many of their photographs are shown with a strange lack of care for chronology, which can be a bit exasperating. And, the translation is a bit sloppy too! They are more like coffee table stuff than serious reference books!

I’ve just bought these three books! They were all on sale at Amazon (Mexico)! Even though I’ve been slightly disappointed with other books from this series, I’ve decided to give it a chance, after reading some positive reviews and finding it at a very decent price! Looks like quite a nice, promising book, apparently nicer than the one from the above mentioned series… We’ll see! And, last but not least, and after quite some time in my wishlist, I finally ordered this one (with a tempting 20% discount)!
