I had a chum in High School that had one of these in the same color. It was a real tank.

I had a chum in High School that had one of these in the same color. It was a real tank. A guy at the old car club that I used to visit had a pristine 1972 4-door Impala and a lovely 1951 Dodge hardtop. I saw him at a supermarket about a year ago and told me he was selling the Chevy. I wonder what happened…

Yes, that looks amazing. This thread is filling up at an impressive pace, looks like people are very motivated to show their pictures again.

Last Saturday I went to the VSCC race meeting at Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire, it's about 45 minutes from my home and this was my first visit to the track despite living in Lincolnshire for over seven years. It's a very scenic track set in the lovely rolling countryside of the Wolds part of the county. The weather was great, people were friendly and the racing was excellent. I'll be back. Oh VSCC is short for the Vintage & Sports Car Club, they cater mainly for pre-WW2 vehicles but do have races for post war cars as well. So on with some F3 500 racers, these usually ran 500cc Norton or JAP engines and Cooper was the main make with a certain S. Moss winning on his debut in one. This is a Kieft CK54 Number 8 is a Martin Norton 500 Aha a Cooper, this being a Mk8 Now this must a one off car, the splendidly named Effyh Bryfan Tyddyn Special. I'm guessing that it is of Welsh origin judging by its name The internals exposed of a Cooper Mk10 There were quite a few classic cars there, this being the rare Bristol 404? four door gentleman's carriage. Kindly ignore the ugly Mercedes next to it

I'll post a few more but dinner time approaches. First one is a Railton 8 Special from 1935, these were built on a Hudson Eight chassis and were quite fast in their day. This is a 1926 Bentley 3/4.5 Litre resplendent in its red livery Also red a 1937 Lagonda LG45 More to come if you so desire but it's now time for me to cook/burn something.

The Bristol is a 405; the 404 was a short-chassis coupe version.

Another batch from Cadwell Park, it was a sensory overload of old cars day, not that I'm complaining . This is a 1935 MG PB and is one of the legendary Cream Cracker team cars. Very nice to see it racing. A 1930 Aston Martin former Le Mans car, LM4 Some more MG cars, 96 a 1931 Montlhery, 97 a 1934 PA & 108 a 1932 C Type A single seater the 1935 MG PB Monoposto Another shot of #108 with #55 a 1931 Montlhery Midget Final one for today a 1933 MG N Magnette. In the background is #203 a 1935 PA 2 seater. And an old Chevy truck.
