I'm not sure if this set really qualifies for Holiday Village status, but I'm posting them anyway. It is kind of like the cars are spilling out of the diorama setting into whitespace. I thought of your Christmas displays when I saw this in a thrift store yesterday. The figurines are roughly 1:43 but the buildings would work only with some perspective trickery. Reasons why I left it there are the price, 35 euros is not trivial- I'm used to paying <5 euros for houses. Also, there's no room for models in front and you'd have to countersink it to use it in a diorama.

It would be better if the buildings were separate and could be arranged and rearranged to suit.

It is finally here. I was up last night doing the "2023" major Holiday Village dio. I'm glad to have something to show for it. Fabulous diorama and photos Michael. Some of the models remind me of the real cars that I knew and of course their owners. The red Mk2 Cortina reminds me of my late Uncle Len who bought a new red 1500GT in 1967, RJD840E, the Goodwood Green Mk3 Zodiac estate a friend who had one in the 70s and the Mk2 Zodiac of my old car that I enjoyed for a few years.
