Does anyone else find the supply of Matrix models unreliable? I pre-ordered the 1963 #12 Ferrari 330 LM in May 2021, but I'm still waiting for my supplier to receive it. My fear is its been and gone and I'll never see this. As a result, I'm not inclined to pre-order their models again and think I'd be better taking my chances on eBay.

I would check with your supplier and see if they maybe were passed by on this one due to other world demand for these models. I got mine on pre-order months ago no problem. I've not had a problem getting Matrix or other brands on pre-order. According to Mark at Replicarz we are moving to a world where models will only be available to those that preorder. At the rate and expense new models are being introduced, retailers can't afford to stock excess inventory and manufacturers are only gearing production to meet pre-orders. You might also consider the volume of sales by the supplier which could factor into their ability to get models now or in the future, especially ones that you think may be very popular. It may be wise to go with a larger retailer to insure delivery. Just a thought. I hope in your case if it was a local supplier it may just be supply chain issues.

Thanks Jerry, both myself and Martin have been in regular contact with the supplier, who still seems to think he’ll get this one. However my jut feel is his allocation won’t be filled, but perhaps Matrix haven’t been clear in communicating this.
Your right, I probably should have ordered this from Mark at Replicarz. Unfortunately the postage costs for a single model from the USA to Australia is prohibitive, though maybe paying $50 postage is better than missing out altogether.

I actually got mine from Grand Prix Models in the UK. Replicarz got theirs a month or so later but what wasn't pre-order sold out quickly. I have been having very good luck with GPM. They hold models for me until there are two or three to ship to reduce postage costs and their generally lower prices offsets lower shipping costs within US. If needed, we can coordinate to have models shipped to me and I can consolidate to reduce shipping costs.

Have you guys seen the latest announcements from Matrix? There’s a guy in Florida who’s going to love a Stutz that will soon be available!

Have you guys seen the latest announcements from Matrix? There’s a guy in Florida who’s going to love a Stutz that will soon be available! Oh yes, you know me well Julio! I might even get BOTH colors! Found out about this 4 days ago while viewing the Stutz Blackhawk facebook page as a 'guest'.
Ironically, the Duplex Sedan has already been modelled in 1:43. There was a seller on eBay that would list 1 or 2 ever year for the last 5 years. I think they showed a white and a burgundy version. I almost pulled the trigger several times but didn't want to spend $180 + shipping, even in my crazier spending days.
Glad I waited as the Matrix looks a bit more polished in the details. This is a a 'grail' car for me but I still wish for more 1:43 Stutzes such as the 1987 Bearcat II which had a quite different look than all of the other Stutzes as it was based on a contemporary Firebird platform. Well, I guess I shouldn't get picky and just be thankful for what's currently on offer.
More than anyone wanted to hear no doubt, but yes, I am excited about this and it's the first 'new' release in a long time to stir that feeling!

I do have both of these Alfa Romeos, albeit in different colours. With these now costing upwards of A$200 each before delivery, I will sit on the ones I have.

Nice… …but, there are other future Matrix models in the horizon for me to consider!
