I did see those Ferrari's but none look as nice as the originals of each so i'm a "pass" I had the same impression...all made 'worse' by the mods

They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I'm not going to pretend that this is a beauty but for me collecting concepts isn't necessarily about beauty but about extremes and this is pretty extreme! The Dino looks nice but I already have the ABC Brianza version and although this looks better than the ABC I'm past the stage of upgrading models - too much effort. The other 2 don't appeal to me but I'm still patiently waiting for the Pinin.

Totally agree with you here Will!! And I love crazy concepts, just this X2000 is too much, even Ford skipped the opportunity to build it in full scale.
I am also waiting for the Pinin (another model that I never got the handbuilt version...)

Delighted to see that Autocult/Avenue43 have announced the Mercury D-528 concept from 1955 one of my most wanted dream cars from the period.

I am still considering this, I kind of like it! And for classic Hollywood movie fans there is also the red version as featured in Patsy:

No question I'll be getting it but further news for us concept fans is, and I'm sorry that I'm slightly hijacking this thread by mentioning another manufacturer, that Franstyle are planning the Peugeot Quasar, a model previously made by Provence/Starter but which I somehow never got my hands on.
Yes Julio and with reverse rake rear window!

BTW Autocult also announced another concept from the 50s (not sure if you've seen it already Will?): Plymouth Cabana Concept And a HUGE thanks for the news about Quasar - high on my wish list!! the only Pug concept I am missing from the 80s..

I saw the announcement of the Cabana, a concept that I’ve always liked and, therefore, quite a tempting model! I hope that AutoCult decides to make the outrageous Imperial D’Elegance someday! They would look great together!

I had seen the Plymouth Paulius but it just doesn't look concepty enough for my taste. Apart from a few features - the rear glass, suicide doors, it just looks like a regular 50's wagon to me. I'm also delighted by the announcement of the Quasar as like you, it's the 80's Pug missing from my collection. Cabana won't be coming my way but I'm with you on the Imperial, a concept that I'd almost forgotten. Thanks for the reminder - I'd definitely be in line for a model of it.
