I used to have that Miura too, but I bought a newer, revised version and gave the red one to my brother. The only thing that remains is the bull! 😬

It's a pity the Corgi was never released as the take off wheels version it was intended to be. The Whizzwheels look awful and the ride height was closer to that of a 4x4. Still have mine though and would never get rid of it!

A far cry from the Miura! How do follow a masterpiece of design Julio? That fact must almost be frustrating for certain leaders at Lamborghini, even Bertone? Yes or no?

You don't, I guess. You move on and try to take brave design decisions. Which work out better in some cases than others.

You don't, I guess. You move on and try to take brave design decisions. Which work out better in some cases than others. Well, It is a matter of what you grew up with I guess. To me, as a teenager in the 80s, Lamborghini was the Countach. And yes, the classics like Espada were also very nice for me back then. But a Miura? I am very sorry, but I have never really liked that as a design. Of course, when I would have been around when it was introduced, I would have appreciated the first mid engined sports car. But to me it has always looked like a front engined car design with the enige in a weird place. So I do prefer the later cars. I do not have a Revuelto yet, but that one will enter my collection when it si available for a reasonable price. The SC20 is on its way to me. Am I a fan of the current style of Lamborghini? No. But just like with Cadillacs from around 1980 they are very nice as a model car because of the amount of details in the design. My favorite Lamborghinis must be the early Countach, Espada, Murcielago and the over the top LM002. But I have a large collection (well over 100) of Lamborghini models from the beginning up to now. Even a few Miura's...

Even a few Miura's... Well, I ceased being a teenager during the early 80s, thus my favorite Lamborghini also is and will always be the Countach, followed closely by the 350 GT. However, my designer side has to recognize the undeniable merits and uncluttered beauty of the Miura, especially when seen in its historical context! By the way, “Revuelto” means mixed up in Spanish! Also, if your stomach feels “revuelto” is when you’re feeling sick and you’re about to throw up and, last but not least, “huevos revueltos” mean “scrambled eggs”! So, even Lamborghini’s name choices seem to me to be as “revueltos” as their current design direction!
