Finally, a 1:43 Corsair to replace the Cararama! Michael will be very happy.
Like it a lot!

So that is what a 1:43 Corsair is supposed to look like. My view has been scorched by my Cararama. Very nice, David.

Nice model of an awkward looking car.

I’ve only seen Corsairs in photos...but, aren’t the proportions of the front end in that model a bit odd?

I like the way they covered the model and the base with a light cover of snow. I'm just wondering why you'd have your sunroof open if it was snowing .

It’s not meant to represent snow. I think it stems from a 1960s illegal substance dealer throwing columbian marching powder out of the roof Ian after a police pursuit?

Julio is right and he's an Ex-Ford man. Looks off. What is it that makes the Corsair so difficult to get right!?

Julio is right and he's an Ex-Ford man. Looks off. What is it that makes the Corsair so difficult to get right!? Julio and Ian where exactly is the front off? I agree my pic of the 3/4 rear exaggerates a non-existent droop. If anything it is slightly thicker at the B pillar waistine IMHO but it doesn't give me sleepless nights The grills for standard models were different to the "E".

In your photos of the model, the very top of the fender starts curving down too soon, whereas in the photos of the real cars it clearly shows that it remains flat much longer.

I do like the Corsair, a friend had a 2000E in that gold colour years ago, another had the three litre V6 from a Zodiac fitted in his 2000E, that went very well. A couple of uncles had the earlier version with the 1500cc pre-crossflow engine, I think that both of them were the rare GT model. Now it would be nice if somebody made the estate and convertible versions wouldn't it?

Interesting car. I have only seen one or two in the flesh (never a convertible) in Canada. Nice add!

I can clearly remember the day my uncle who covered many miles up and down the UK as a sales man for an auto wrapping business, coming home with a brand new Corsair. Out of the many cars he drove in the 60' and 70's this car always brings back the memories of him.
