Just picked up this presentation version of the 961 for a reasonable price. Planning to turn it into the Daytona version (decals on the way) as from what I can see, Spark did not officially make that. The real car has some mesh covering the grill as per the picture below: Wondering if anybody has any suggestions for the mesh, in terms of material?

I'm sure railroad model suppliers can help you out.

Mosquito netting may be a tight enough mesh to give you scale screen and would be pliable enough to work over a small curved piece like a headlamp. I'm looking at some mesh in the liner of an old baseball cap. Probably not fine enough for headlamps, but certainly for window netting. Let us know if you find something that works.

This is the best superglue that I have found. The brush applicator is excellent.

I like their gel super glue for certain applications when you are looking for a thicker amount of glue, like for bonding large pieces/parts.

It's good stuff. Try Deluxe Materials as they have a whole range of superglues all of which bar the non-fogging type are very good

Last week I bought one of these in order to paint a missing tampo detail in a Neo model that I bought about 7 years ago! I’m absolutely delighted with the results!

A go to on my workbench. Used it yesterday on detailing a rear view mirror that was molded into the windshield of a Bang model. Great product!
