IXO's 1965 and 1966 Shelby GT 350sComparison: 1965 and '66 Shelby GT 350 by IXO by Michael, on Flickr Similar but different. Both are part-work series issues. The 1966 version is described as a "1965" model and is from the Memorable Mexican Cars series (although this model of Shelby was never sold there). I don't know what series the real 1965 (lighter in color) model is from. Comparison: 1965 and '66 Shelby GT 350 by IXO by Michael, on Flickr Comparison: 1965 and '66 Shelby GT 350 by IXO by Michael, on Flickr the biggest differences are seen here. I'm not sure what to think about the wheels on the '66. Comparison: 1965 and '66 Shelby GT 350 by IXO by Michael, on Flickr Now IXO has two versions of the Shelby GT 350 in their retail line, but they have gotten confused. Screenshot IXO Shelby GT 350 1966 by Michael, on Flickr IXO put this model on their Facebook page. It is a proper 1966 model. They labeled it as a "1965" and then issued it with the 1965 body, which would have been fine, except that the 1965 version came in only one color combo -- blue on white. For 1966 red, blue and eventually the black GT 350H were added. Screenshot IXO Shelby GT 350H by Michael, on Flickr To be accurate, this should be called a GT 350H (Hertz) and it should have used the 1966 body shell.

Mustang II Comparison: Greenligtht, IXO and Neo. Ford Mustang II Comparison by Michael, on Flickr Greenlight and IXO. The IXO appears to be a bit smaller than the Greenlight, which I think is more accurate. Ford Mustang II Comparison by Michael, on Flickr The spoiler on the Greenlight is pretty clumsy. Ford Mustang II Comparison by Michael, on Flickr Greenlight, Neo and IXO. I see that the taillights are smaller on the IXO. I think the Neo has the best taillights. Ford Mustang II Comparison by Michael, on Flickr The spoiler is so much better on the IXO. Ford Mustang II Comparison by Michael, on Flickr Greenlight and IXO. Proof positive that the IXO is not based on the Greenlight. The base plat for the IXO seems to be for a 2.3 I-4, and it turns out that the Cobra II package was offered on I-4, as well as V-6 and V-8 models. Ford Mustang II Comparison by Michael, on Flickr IXO and Greenlight. Verdict, the IXO is better in most areas, but the Greenlights do have a nice interior. Ford Mustang II Comparison by Michael, on Flickr Ford Mustang II Comparison by Michael, on Flickr 1975 Mustang II Ghia 2.8 V6 (without the Ghia badges) by Neo. The Neo licensee plate reads "1974" but based on the configuration of the vinyl roof, this is a 1975 or newer car.

Nice, I will add that to my collection when offered but concur about the proportions. Dumb error on the plinth too.
