Very nice so far! You've read that statement wrong through, constructing the kit itself will be easier. Not the build.

Nice way to pass a long evening. Better than a night semi-comatose in front of the TV.

I would have given up when opening the box and seeing the number of pieces! I always admire people that have the patience amd skill to create these works or wonder.

Maskol is horrible stinky stuff that is very difficult to remove from brushes. Works a treat though This is looking very good. I really should try my hand at one or two of these metal kits

I so admire you, patient fellows! Cheers Julio. No question, without any time dead lines the task is much easier. Nice way to pass a long evening. Better than a night semi-comatose in front of the TV. I've been side tracked Ian. Just see Australia beat India in the Cricket World Cup. They played very well. Cheers Paul I would have given up when opening the box and seeing the number of pieces! I always admire people that have the patience amd skill to create these works or wonder. It does go wrong sometimes Martin I can assure you. But you are right, a bucket full of patience is a necessity at times. Maskol is horrible stinky stuff that is very difficult to remove from brushes. Works a treat though This is looking very good. I really should try my hand at one or two of these metal kits Cheers Andy. Agree you need an old paint brush to administer the stuff

In comparison to the SMTS Ferrari 246T Dino's I built, this one is turning into a long haul. More patience is certainly required. However, I have managed to progress somewhat further. The plumbing around and to the engine on this model has been a head sketcher at times due to the instructions being rather nondescript concerning final connections. Got there in the end though. Engine, gearbox and front disc assembles. The marriage. Masking up the frame for the rear oil tank. Plumbing running from the radiator in the nose to the engine installed. I had to fix the number decals this side first to determine the correct paint position for the white on the water pipework. I will use a very fine black pen to highlight the lower part of the figure 8 on the pipe nearer completion. Note the location for the etched parts for the exhaust brackets (one on either side but left one only in view). They were very small! Also the etched roll bar stays were a bit tricky. The other side Birds eye view. This is as far as I have got. More to follow later next month.
