Excellent add Martin! I wasn't aware that Lotus ran the 78 in JPS parent company livery. Sad that it was Nilsson's last F1 race and that Lotus couldn't give him an equal car to Andretti's. He had the talent. PW has upheld their presenting obscure cars from F1 with this one. Like it!

Never knew that livery and like it a lot. Great add from a series that keeps giving.

Another great addition Martin. I recalled that Andy posted the Reve equivalent of this model over 12 months ago and the humble PW model stacks up well, albeit with larger panel gaps between the different pieces of the casting: I wasn't aware of what had become of Gunnar Nilsson - what a tragic story. Considering the state of F1 cars back in that era, the panel gaps on the PW may be closer to the real thing Ian . I never knew that he raced a red 78. I was present at Zolder for his only GP win, three of us drove there in a friend's Mk1 Escort Sport. Nilsson drove very well in a race of changing conditions if I remember correctly, indeed at one stage David Purley was leading in his LEC-DFV. And Niki Lauda was behind him shaking his fist at him for not getting out of his way as he thought he was lapping him. It was very sad when he passed away, taken too soon. Very nice model. Now you're just making me jealous Paul - I would have loved to see some 1970s F1 action live! I am a fan of the JPS livery, but this isn't an eyesore either. I like the car and model too, could be persuaded to add it to my collection on looks alone. It is a very good looking racer in this livery for sure Tom. Excellent add Martin! I don't think Nilsson was in the top echelon of period drivers (like Peterson was) may he was more than useful and could have had a good career. That's a rare bird! Here is mine:

Very nice Alex. The car looks even better without the "dirty" logos. The ones I have used came from fellow Forum member "grandprixdecals". Never knew that livery and like it a lot. Great add from a series that keeps giving. Now that the Series is well into the high 100s Paul, we are getting some rare birds indeed. the next two are good examples of that as well.

Really Martin, we don't thaw out here for another 6 months... What can I say, life's been complicated. I have had a few aftermarket parts added not included by the EOM but am recovering I think. Glad to be able to hang out with you lads. Believe me when I say I've missed you all.

Glad to be able to hang out with you lads. Believe me when I say I've missed you all. I just hope you went with the genuine "factory" parts and not some form a dodgy aftermarket supplier who had the original drawings upside down when manufacturing them . Good to hear you are on the mend - you have been missed around here as well.

Actually Martin, the new suspension parts are titanium to replace some seriously depleted EOM bits. Final jury is still out but it looks promising. I just needed to prepare for the idea that they would be cutting the old pieces out and disposing of them. Bit of a mental job that. Plus I have one wicked scar. Scott
