Whilst on a general peruse of YouTube, I came across this very interesting video of Gordon Murray's personal car collection which is very much focused on small capacity but high revving and lightweight sporting road cars (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hg6VED1vQRw). Having watched the video, I realised I had 80% of his 1/1 road car garage in my 1/43 collection. I backfilled 10% as I realised a number of the missing cars also resonated with me. I also realised that the majority of the smaller capacity cars were Zagato's and when I added on a couple of my own personal favourites of my larger capacity cars (Aston's), its a noteworthy selection. This is a road car collection, so I haven't included a couuple of Abarth race cars which Murray has in his 1/1 collection which by coincidence (or because I have a natural car designers eye like Gordon 😂 ), that I also happen to have from my Targa Florio collection. So, I hope these resonate with you all! Starline Fiat 8V Zagato Spark Alfa Romeo Zagato Junior

Indeed, an overlooked thread theme! Thought I'd share a little tidbit about Zagato today! The current studio is based in Milan and is helmed by Andrea and Marella Zagato. Andrea is the grandson of founder Ugo and Marella is actually the daughter of Piero Rivolta from ISO fame (Grifo, Fidia, Lele etc). Here's a photo of the two...hope this isn't off topic?

Gordon Murray and Zagato, when I see these names within the first paragraph I'm glued! I have a great deal of time for Gordon so will watch YouTube video you suggest plus Zagato is certainly one of my favourite body styling companies. Great thread Paul, this I'm sure will grow.

Those Zagato Astons are fantastic and a rare example of Matrix making models of modern cars.
