The Alfas look great! Apart from the much discussed TSM striping errors Julio! All look great. I'd love to see them race. You and me both Tom. Tough to choose a favourite there Luckily I don't have to Paul (but if I did it would be one of the '69 Alfas).

512s are great, but the Daytona is the star here.

I am happy to have them Jerry, they are excellent models. 512s are great, but the Daytona is the star here. 512s are great, but the Daytona is the star here. X 2! It does look good is less extreme early form, and in red of course.

1972 up next, and the last appearance of an Alfa Romeo factory team in the race. There are ongoing discussions about what happens when Alfa pulls out of F1 at the end of this year. Stellantis have said they will remain in racing, WEC maybe, and a return to Le Mans? A non-Italian pops up in this thread for the first time. 1972M4 Alfa Romeo T33/TT/3 3.0 #17 Autodelta - Vic Elford & Helmut Marko 1972 24 Hours of Le Mans - DNF, TransmissionM4 Alfa Romeo T33/TT/3 3.0 #18 Autodelta - Andrea de Adamich & Nino Vaccarella 1972 24 Hours of Le Mans - 4thM4 Alfa Romeo T33/TT/3 3.0 #19 Autodelta - Rolf Stommelen & Giovanni "Nanni" Galli 1972 24 Hours of Le Mans - DNF, TransmissionRed Line Models Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona 4.4 #34 Scuderia Filipinetti - Mike Parkes, Jean-Louis Lafosse & Jean-Jacques Cochet 1972 24 Hours of Le Mans - 7thRed Line Models Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona 4.4 #35 Scuderia Filipinetti - Bernard Cheneviere, Florian Vetsch & Gerard Pillon 1972 24 Hours of Le Mans - DNF, AccidentRed Line Models Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona 4.4 #36 Ecurie Francorchamps - Derek Bell, Teddy Pilette & Richard Bond 1972 24 Hours of Le Mans - 8thRed Line Models Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona 4.4 #37 Maranello Concessionaires - Peter Westbury & John Hine 1972 24 Hours of Le Mans - DNF, EngineRed Line ModelsFerrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona 4.4#38 North American Racing Team - Jean-Pierre Jarier & Claude Buchet1972 24 Hours of Le Mans - 9thRed Line Models Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona Competizione 4.4 #39 Automobiles Charles Pozzi - Claude ballot-Lena & Jean-Claude Andruet 1972 24 Hours of Le Mans - 5thBang Ferrari Dino 246 GT 2.4 #46 North American Racing Team - Jean-Pierre Laffeach & Gilles Doncieux 1972 24 Hours of Le Mans - 19thTrofeu Ford Capri RS2600 Mark 1 2.9 #52 Ford Motorenwerke - Dieter Glemser & Alex Soler-Roig 1972 24 Hours of Le Mans - 11thRed Line ModelsFerrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona 4.4#57 North American Racing Team - Masten Gregory & Luigi Chinetti Jnr1972 24 Hours of Le Mans - DNF, Cylinder Head JointRed Line Models Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona 4.4 #74 North American Racing Team - Sam Posey & Tony Adamowicz 1972 24 Hours of Le Mans - 6th

Martin, you've now brought out the good stuff! I didn't realize so many Daytona's were given then Redline treatment? Absolutely glorious examples one and all. I feel fortunate to have just a single example...car #36.

I wish Red Line had done the Daytona TdF winner. Amazing quality and love the 512's as well - especially the Sunoco car.

I did go on a bit of a Red Line hunt a few years ago and added quite a few of the racing cars from that collection. The Daytonas are equal favourites of mine with the 250 GTOs.
