Rather impressive to see them one at a time. I'm bowled over seeing them all at once. Fantastic models Andy!

The crazy thing is that this is just a drop in the bucket, it is a stellar collection on its own.

That will be a massive undertaking. Nonetheless, I have a seed of a plan in my head for that

Helmuth Koinigg debuted in F1 at the Austrian Grand Prix in 1974 for Scuderia Finotto and although he failed to qualify it was enough to secure him a contract with Surtees for the last two races of the season, Canada & Watkins Glen. He would qualify 22nd in Canada and would secure 10th at the finish in his first F1 race marking him as a good prospect for 1975. Unfortunately it wasn't to be as at the next race at Watkins Glen he was killed when on the 10th lap suspension failure pitched him head on into the barriers in a manner very similar to Francois Cevert the previous year.

The wing is the big attraction here for me.

Not my kind of thing, at all, but that’s certainly interesting!

The wing is the big attraction here for me. You have to ask whether it created drag considering the size of it! Not my kind of thing, at all, but that’s certainly interesting! Thank you mate. Appreciate that

Le Mans 1955 saw the debut of what was considered to be at the time the best sports cars in the world, the Mercedes Benz 300 SLR which had just won on it's debut at the Mille Miglia. Producing 300hp from its 3 litre straight eight and with an additional air brake to cope with the heavy braking demands at Le Mans, Mercedes brought three cars to the race with one going to their premier driver pairing of Juan Manuel Fangio & Stirling Moss. Although Fangio was delayed at the start he would by the end of the first hour be in third and by the end of the next hour be in the lead racing hard against Mike Hawthorn in the Jaguar D-Type. Moss would take over a little after the huge accident involving the sister car and would extend the lead to 2 laps however at 1.45am after a decision by the Mercedes board the team withdrew from the race. Spark - Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR - 1955 Le Mans 24 Hours - J.M.Fangio - & S.Moss - DNF
