Knowing who the owner is Martin, I'm pretty sure it's a 1600. You and Julio both commented on the Mk2 hood louvers. They stem from the Mk2 's raced in the day by Coombs Garage in the BTCC and were cut to help with cooling as the 3.8's run warm. Ironically they didn't turn out to help much, but they became popular. Some people think they look racy. I'm also not a fan.

One of my all time favourite cars - I still have my now very old Corgi version somewhere. I would love one and a Lancia Beta HPE in my 1:1 garage!
Great spot.

I agree with Julio. If I lived somewhere that had car spotting opportunities like this, I would never get anything else done.

Nice spots gentlemen, love the DC3. Pretty sure that my father had a 305 in that colour. No photos but today a very nice 50s AEC flatbed lorry went past my house as did a 1955 Austin Westminster. Also spotted was a yellow and white Anglia 105E that has been woken up after sleeping since last September. It went out for a short test drive which went well and hopefully it's off to a local show tomorrow.

Nice captures in the wild, all of them! Can't say I've ever seen an early Esprit in that color and it looks superb on all of the lines/angles. The Yak looks like it doesn't 'yak' anymore. but what lovely early 00's parking mates in the Jaguar S-type and Rover Estate. What a treat to have 'correspondents' in far off lands sharing these

A couple of weeks ago I went to a local classic car meet at a garden centre, sadly in my Focus as I had been unwell and therefore had done nothing to my Anglia (it's up and running now) and naturally my Impala is still not ready, sigh. It was a nice morning and although there were a couple of clashing shows in the area the turn out was okay. This 1980 244 is all original and was bought new by the father of one of the couple that now owns it. I like the Ram Clean old Mercedes Little Red Corvette 72-ish Mustang This Mustang was absolutely rotten when the owner found it. He modifies cars so it's now RHD with the running gear from a Lexus LS400 complete with much of its interior. How very British V8 parking only Nice R4 in excellent condition Pickups x2 I have forgotten what this is, brain fade. Edit: Toyota Supra 1965 Pontiac Catalina, I had a '66 Catalina 2+2 back in 1981 A rare sight now, Mk3 Cortina estate. I think this was bought new by the owner's father and is not restored. Brain fade again, Celica? Circa 1964 Valiant ragtop Some sort of McLaren Nice pair of GT's No idea what this is, looks like Mini running gear Rodded Ford Popular powered by Ford V8 One for RotorMotor Owner told me this is his first classic car, it was very clean Another clean old Mercedes Old Peugeot owned by a young guy Very nice Cooper S Splendid Triumph Roadster with dickey seat as they're called here Couple of modded VW's
