I was chatting to a friend outside our village shop yesterday when a pale blue 1954-ish Simca Aronde saloon drove by. I cannot remember the last time I saw one except for the French Dinky models sitting in my display cabinet.

Wow, what an interesting and eclectic assortment of vehicles there Tom! I always wanted a Volvo 1800ES.

Excellent assortment, I owned a Volvo 1800E coupe back in the early 80s in a similar blue, I liked that car. UXC8J is now red apparently. Always admired the ES too.

Usual varied bunch with some real Gems.
The Spider obviously takes the cake for me but I'll also give a shout out to the XM, 911, Panda, and the Citroen utility vehicles. I do like the Purosangue, but in that colour?? - Oh, and the P1800 get a vote as well.

Lots of goodness from both, Tom & Julio! Seems like we've seen VW meetups before from MX? Obvious pride for the marque from the condition shown

The 124 might need more than a touch up paint pen but i’ll still take it. Always like a Mehari as well. Nice selection of VWs Julio.

Whoa, the owner of the dark blue Beetle must have ticked "yes" to everything on the Options List!
I do like the pale blue Beetle with the roof-rack - there is something joyful and summery about it.

Nice Veedub show Julio, they all look in very good condition. A friend still has his '57 oval window Beetle that he bought in about 1970/1.

My best friend in L.A., while I was attending college in California, a guy with Ucranian background, had a gorgeous, beautifully modified red oval window VW. On its rear window he put a custom made decal with the car’s name: “Hitler’s Dream”! Extremely politically incorrect then, and even more so now!

Wow, never heard of that sticker before...and believe me, I see some pretty outrageous statements in Florida. I am a 100% no bumper sticker kind of guy, the less people know, the better
