Today I attended Wheels Marienwaerdt which is the continuation of the Concours d'elegance but at a different location. Took my camera, over 1000 pics today. A preview from my phone-    I have two free entry tickets, so I might go again tomorrow or the day after. |

I've decided to return tomorrow for a second visit (and to take in the visitors' car park twice this time!) in order to take fewer 'full car' snapshots and concentrate on quality photography.

Not a car sighting but whilst sitting in my lounge the unmistakeable sound of four Rolls-Royce Merlin engines meant that the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Lancaster WW2 bomber was flying over my house, I never get tired of that sound. In a couple of weeks I shall be attending the Members Day when we have an air display to thank us for our support, it will be nice to see the Lancaster again although their fighters remain grounded after the tragic accident earlier this year. Roll-Royce are sending their Spitfire, P-51 Mustang and Harvard to display though so I am hoping for good weather and a nice day out.

Must have been a car show somewhere in my neck of the woods today as i passed a lot of classics as i was heading off fishing this morning. Couldn’t take pics as i was in the car on my own but spotted this one when stopped at a petrol station. Pimp my ride anyone?……  |

Yup, very clean custom.
Another day at the classic car show. More cars than on Friday, not as hot (cloudy weather is best for photography). Spent over two hours walking through the classic car park and taking pictures. I'm at 2100 pictures including Friday now.

I posted a link to some pics of the Japanese car show Brooks. As for this weekend- I took over 2000 pictures and they need to be processed and scaled down, then uploaded. That will take 'some' time...
