Fab turnout! The Maser's a Ghibli, the Minor needed a wheel upgrade because it was treated to a disc brake upgrade, presumably ex-Spridget.

What incredible variety. I admire many, but my favorite has to be the Daimler DS420. I just love these elegant machines, be it for funerals or otherwise. The 'right' 2-tone finish is just icing on the cake as they say...in the bakery section!

Always lusted after an RS1600i (in graphite grey). Could have got a beauty for £5k about 10 years ago. Alas that ship has long sailed…..

@paul reeft1 - that Alfa is just the right amount of boxy goodness, such a timeless design. 105epaul - my shopping list is as follows: - Fulvia (of course - I have gone weak at the knees with this one!) - the Beta to go with the Fulvia - the Sierra - all the Escorts, Mk 1 van and RS1600i - the Maserati - and the Cortina, as it is similar to my first car. Just let me know when you can arrange delivery .

Not a huge amount of interest spotted during my recent break in Egypt which is perhaps surprising as you would think rust is unlikely to be an issue (4 days of rain in a year is not unheard of). I was too slow to capture a Fiat/Seat 127, an old Beetle and a Fiat Regatta (can’t believe too many of the latter survive given the rust issue present in Italian mass produced cars of that era) but this old Lada 2107 was still going strong. The 2 x 4 hoof drive machines were very much for the Tourists benefit

Must've been at least 15 years since I saw an original Dutch-market Lada... they're being re-imported as classics now.

Seen this morning/noon during my Sunday bike ride… This MINI belongs to a friend of mine. He’s had it since new and has also had two more MINIs, from the newer generations! Then, I saw this Thunderbird again, but now it was parked outside a cool looking restaurant!

When in Egypt some years ago a friend went to see the Pyramids. He told me he saw a Mk2 Zephyr shell that was in bare metal having been sat in the desert for ages, not an ounce of rust on it. Sadly people had cut any flat metal from it and another old car, might have been a Taunus.
Nice Thunderbird Julio, I think a set of whitewall tyres would lift it though, most of them had thin band whitewalls and the look pretty nice with them. A friend had a very early Bini here, it was chassis number 151 (I think). Sadly his bitch ex-wife took it and his '92 Mini from him when they divorced, she did it out of pure spite.

Apart from the non standard wheels, a pretty tidy 325i in the best generation of 3 series in my humble opinion.

Agree with that 100% Paul. Shame about the wheels, it would look sooooo much better on cross-spoke BBSes.
