Heading over to Italy and something that will make Martin, and hopefully others, happy to see!
This was one of my very first 1:43s once I got back into the hobby circa 2000. This was purchased for $5 from Exoto when they were 'dumping' a bunch of diecasts from Bang, Best etc.

I like that. I recall queueing to buy the Progetto K Giulia model, there had been talk about their release months in advance. Can't imagine that today...

I'm attracted to this for sure Brookes, thanks for showing it again. I have one of these Progetto K Giulias decked out in Autodelta colours, but would happily also take this one.

Oh boy!….or should it be “Mamma mia!”? Great looking model, BB! Either works for me Julio Those tires look the business! They do give character! Looks like the one of the front passengers' side roof has already had blowout though I like that. I recall queueing to buy the Progetto K Giulia model, there had been talk about their release months in advance. Can't imagine that today... Model seems 'primitive' I guess, but it does have charm. I'm attracted to this for sure Brookes, thanks for showing it again. I have one of these Progetto K Giulias decked out in Autodelta colours, but would happily also take this one. Thanks Martin, would like to see yours in the future!
Anyone up for a race with something from Coventry? Tape on on your 'chest wigs' as it doesn't get much hairier than this!

The more I see it, the more I regret not getting one. Excellent.

Yes, I like that a great deal Brooks! Happy to oblige Jerry! I've heard about yours, you're a lucky man This is one that I "had" to have as well. Jeff, you're always a sobering voice of 'wants vs. needs' The more I see it, the more I regret not getting one. Excellent. Tom, even with all of your cars, there's going to be that missed or elusive car. I know that feeling, but there's always hope... My favourite Jaguar bar none - standing ovation from me. Martin, it's near the top for me as well. As is the XJ sedan wasn't special enough, this just took it to another level. What a shame it came about at such a poor time in the company's history. Great looking model of a cool looking Jag! That it is Julio! The big cat gets a big tick You're in good company Paul. My guess these are plenty rare, even in the land of their origin?
Moving ahead about 10 years and the 'malaise' area of American 'Muscle'. These were the 'dream cars' of many young guys in my high school in podunk Florida in mid-1980s. I was never really a fan but in retrospect I get the appeal and I think the model captures it very well.

One of those American cars that I know nothing about - although did they use the silhouette for NASCAR racing? The model looks good though.

Mullet heads rejoice, your car is here! I never thought this was a bad looking car, better than a lot of the day and to me, more desirable than the other white trash wet dream, the IROC Camaro. At least in this you could pretend you were Dale Earnhardt in it.
