I love the detail on that '40 Lincoln Continental too, but I'm also frustrated by the model because seems way too large to be in scale. Recent Arrival by Michael, on Flickr From IXO's Museum series is this 1939 (MY 1940) Lincoln Continental. It was a really good deal on e-bay,and I bought it even though I already have the Minichamps version of this car. The trouble with the MC version is that it is undersized and I wanted something that would show the car's full proportions. However the IXO is as oversized as the Minichamps model is undersized. The IXO model is well detailed though. Recent Arrival by Michael, on Flickr Recent Arrival by Michael, on Flickr

Mark I Lincoln Continental Comparison: Mark I Lincoln Continental Comparison by Michael, on Flickr IXO, Neo and Minichamps. The IXO is too big and the Minichamps is too small. The Neo seems to get it about right. Mark I Lincoln Continental Comparison by Michael, on Flickr IXO and Minichamps, one is too big and the other is too small, though both are nicely detailed. These are different model years, so different interior details. I don't know these cars well enough to know if the details are accurate. Mark I Lincoln Continental Comparison by Michael, on Flickr The IXO is actually a 1940 model, not a '39.

Although it is too small, the Minichamps seems like the better detailed model. MEL Picnic by Michael, on Flickr Mercury, Edsel, Lincoln and Continental.
