My usual supplier for pre-order models (Matrix and Autocult, sometimes Spark), does not carry Schuco so I had to look elsewhere, and actually bought it back in October! It was expected for Q4'22.. Luckily the shop received & sent it last week. Glad it went well!

Aston Martin Victor by Schuco Pro.R in a group shot with its predecessors. All 3 in a similar shade of dark green, the others of course the original Vantage and the Virage based Vantage Le Mans, both by Spark.

Really impressive Schuco, I cannot quit staring at it!

Tom is not helpful. He just dropped a little "I think all Zagato models should be the fixed head not convertible versions to show the iconic double bubble roof" comment to get me thinking and ultimately to go and switch out my Spark Vantage Volante Zagato for the recently released Matrix fixed head version.

Sorry, Paul! At least your collection is the better for it. Fantastic model (but then again I should say that).

Seeing the Victor with its forebears shows the lineage clearly - it's half way between the two. Great trio. Matrix Zagato looks fantastic. Are you sure it's 1:43?

Another case of being unduly influenced. This time Tom is innoncent and it’s Marcellix who is to blame. Whilst I really wanted the hard top version, I found this single convertible version for sale in Switzerland. These are like rocking horse doo doo at sensible prices.... Matrix Aston Martin DB9 Spyder Centennial Zagato (2013)

Congrats on getting one. All 3 are nice but this the best in my opinion. It would have been nice if Matrix made a Centennial 3 car set and they have just announced a re-release of the Bulldog so you might yet be lucky with a re-issue of the other Centennial versions.

Gorgeous! I wish I had bought all three Centennial Astons when they were easy to find!

Technically they are releasing "new" versions: the silver one with open headligths (first edition was closed) and the green one with closed headlights (earlier made as open).. I did not remember the cabrio was green - it's been some time since I've checked this model! I never got the wagon, somehow I do not like its' rear end, but I do like the coupe and cabrio.

I am happy to have all 3 Centennials, great looking models. And I prefer the convertible, looks so elegant.
I also have all 3 Vantage Zagats's by Spark. Matrix will probably do the convertible too I guess. But in this case I really prefer the coupe. And Spark did that one better than Matrix.
Yes they are re releasing the Bulldogs, with the headlights switched. Probably because the real Bulldog has been restored (looks absolutely fabulous now!) and new people are discovering the car.
