Gorgeous model! So, 500 Ferrari models! That’s quite a lot of cavallinos!

Solido Daytona road car in Ruby Red was one of my first items in my 'New' collection. It and a yellow Solido Miura in yellow both bought in 1973 but lost their boxes before I went all serious in 1985 and made sure I bought boxed models. Silver boxed Road Daytona and Ruby boxed Road Daytona have been added. Now have over 200 street Ferraris. Only one 575 has a racing number.
I daren't go down the Competition Car Route...

Absolutely fantastic Jerry.
I would have loved to see a Daytona raced in anger, and I am a huge fan of these cars. The model is magnificent and sits well with the support vehicles.
My Ferrari collection is sitting around 750, only beaten for numbers by a certain Milanese marque!!

Congratulations on the 500th Maranello acquisition Jerry. The Pozzi car is one of my favorite 365 Daytona's and I've had this Redline version in my collection for close to 10 years:

Thanks guys! In my defense, I have to say the number of Ferrari models is the gross number over four decades of collecting. The current number after trading, selling, etc. is just over 300. Once I put on some better wheels and tires, this model will be good background for its sister car from LM in 1972 in my diorama.

Must be very fast to be able to pull the tire off the wheels!

Must be very fast to be able to pull the tire off the wheels! The crap wheels let the Detail Cars version of the Daytona down. I have a set of proper wheels and tires to fit on it now.
