At various times I have toyed with trying to make one. However, the size to make it true to scale would be huge. The wingspan would be 2.5 ft. (762 mm) and the length 1.7 ft. (518 mm). The largest model of a Bristol Superfreighter I could find is in 1/72 scale, the popular model plane scale. Not sure where you would display one in 1/43, maybe hang it from your bedroom ceiling? 😆

I just remembered there was a 1:43 diorama with a Bristol Freightliner displayed at Retromobile in Paris a few years ago (pre-COVID). Here's a few pictures I saved from that time for inspiration.

Fantastic. The plane looks like a kit, not a scratch built item. Must be very rare.

Wow, that is neat! Amazing detail! Plane dwarfs the transporter and tanker. Very cool!
