And the first one I have added in a very long time, I pre ordered this almost a year ago. I had been in contact with the author as he reached out to me about the T70 and we chatted quite a bit. This is another masterpiece from him, for those that do not know, Gordon Jones also co wrote "The Ford That Beat Ferrari"

Excellent book, I really love the books focusing on one car because there's a lot of detail knowledge in there. I'm sure you will enjoy this!

I agree with Tom, too many books try to be all things to all people when a more focussed approach is much more entertaining.

I have been peeking at it all weekend and am enjoying it immensely I agree with Tom, too many books try to be all things to all people when a more focussed approach is much more entertaining. Quite right! The general knowledge books generally do not have much except for the casual user. Here is one that I know you would like.

I do like the look of that 250 GTO book. I have the late Anthony Pritchard's comprehensive book on the subject from a handful of years ago and it is one of theose books that is always on and off the shelf. I believe there is another new book on the history of all the 250 GTO chassis, but I might just stick to the one I have.

In my early collecting days used to swap brochures and 1:43 models with Kieth Bluemel. Nice chap and very knowledgable about Ferrari in particular. He is now a frequently invited judge on the international concours circuit. I also have a number of his books although not the 250GTO one.

Here's my latest book; although the title suggests it's primarily about the Lancia Loraymo, in reality it's more devoted to Raymond Loewy and his design career with the Loraymo just a stepping stone towards the Studebaker Avanti:
