Yes I spotted the photo yesterday on the Autosport Forum and forwarded it onto LM24hrs.
I had seen a few photos of the scene but didnt recognise this one.
I am not well up on American cars but is it a Chevrolet Camaro behind, along with two Ford Capris and a red/black car.
It is Jochen Rindt, in the red jacket, being interviewed with his Lotus 72 alongside.

Amazing, love it!
The red car with the vinyl roof is a Ford 15M(?) coupé.

The red US car behind the Wheatcroft transporter is indeed a Mustang as said by Jerry, it's a 1970 model, looks like a convertible.

Great to see the extra detail in the scene from 1970 and as a result, I'd be very tempted to try and squeeze in Spark's Lotus transporter if there was enough space.
Does any anyone doe a 1969/70 Mustang convertible? I had a quick look on eBay, but all I could see were fastbacks.

You can find an IXO red 1970 Boss 302 and i suspect for a man of Paul's calibre that grinding off the fast back and painting the roof black should get him acceptably close and well within his skill set!

I will be putting a MIB Spark Lotus (Gold Leaf) transporter in the marketplace in a couple days. I am replacing it with a SMTS version. PM me if interested.

Guys this is all very productive, many thanks.
The NEO 2 door Taunus, is a great find which I did come across the other week myself. I believe it is a Japanese import model, might be wrong. Certainly on the "to find" list. As are a couple of MkI Capri's

When I started this diorama it was purely on the basis of Team Wheatcroft and Derek Bell so I cut the base to suit. Yes, I can add a few more relevant car models and figures now this other ref pic has turned up but getting the Lotus Transporter in is not the objective in this case. Before anybody asks.... no I'm not building another to get the red transporter in either. Shame I know but I have so many other ideas to build.
On that note I would like to say thanks Jerry for your notification ref the transporter future sale but not for me I'm afraid.
