Very impressive. I like it in white as a homage to the original.

Boy, oh boy! That looks fabulous! 🖤 Thanks, it really is a very nice model. Even better IRL. I kinda like it - not enough to pay Looksmart price for but TSM have announced a version which, though not quite up to LS standards, will be good enough for me. I did see that one announced lately. Tempting to go for that one indeed, but this one just looks so good. Looks well modelled and would like one at an IXO/PX price point if ever available. That being said, I really think that lightning does NOT strike twice on a design like the Countach or Miura. How do you every top something so original and perfect??? This being a Countach probably means that we will see a lot of them, also much cheaper. There already is a very good looking 1:18 Maisto which costs not much more than a 1:43 diecast... You are right... even with the original Countach they didn't manage to keep it right. I don't like the Miura at all, but the Miura concept they did in the 90s looked like one but didn't feel like one. I grew up with the Countach. And when Lambo would have been Porsche, this could well have been the 12th generation of Countachs Agree 100% with Brooks, having said that it’s a remarkably clean design by recent Lambo standards. The model is amazing. Yes it is. It is a metallic, really sparkles when you put a light on it. And everything that seems black is covered in carbon print. The red interior is very nice too, with white stitchings printed on it. I'm intrigued. But what garish colour? I quite fancy the purple..... Well, its the purple thats on order! That would be nice too, but I prefered the white one. Also because of the combination with the red interior. Very impressive. I like it in white as a homage to the original. Me too, the original was white in the brochure Lamborghini sent me back then. I need to do a white Countach group shot I guess.

A very nice model, standard LS quality. Am I the only one who doesn't like the "new Countach"? I as never a big fan of the Aventador, maybe that's why I see this rather boring..

No Paulius, you're not alone. That doesn't mean I won't be getting one of course!

No Paulius, you're not alone. That doesn't mean I won't be getting one of course! You're both not alone in this. I like it, but not enough. It has a lot of styling detailt that remember the original. But obivously it is an Aventador underneath. I don't know wether I like this Countach more than a normal Aventador, but I do prefer it over "over the top" designs like the Veneno and SVJ. Really curious what the real top Lambo is going to look like...

A groupshot of european 80s saloons in red sporty versions. Saab 900 Turbo (Neo), Lancia Thema 8.32 (Kess), Rover 3500 Vitesse (Vanguards), Citroen CX GTI Turbo 2 (Neo), Ford Granada 2.8 injection (Vanguards) and Volvo 740 Turbo (Volvo Collection PW). All cars from my teens which I liked very much back than. My first car was a Citroen CX TRD Turbo 2 in exactly this colour. Later I owned 2 more CXs, in GTI Turbo version. I've also owned a Saab 900, a 3 door (which was horrible to drive compared to the CX I had at the same time btw). Wouldn't mind owning any of the rest in real versions.

That's a lovely lineup, very relatable lineup for this early 50-ish person! For what it's worth, I only saw the overhead shot at first and was able to identify every car

That's a great selection - they are all favourites here as well.
I also need to get an 8.32. One of my most treasured photos (actual not digital - taken in the late '90s) is of an 8.32 outside the Cavallino Restaurant in Maranello, with Luca di Montezemolo and Jean Todt standing next to it and chatting. I'm assuming it was one of their company cars.

For what it's worth, I only saw the overhead shot at first and was able to identify every car Yes, each car had its own style back then. Not only recognisable by looking at the details, but the overal stance and proportions made it possible to see in a flash what car it was. Superb group. The 8.32 is still on my wish list, really nice model. Thanks. The 8.32 is indeed a pretty good model by Kess. Just have a look at the Norev first series Thema, and it is obvious even with such clean lines as the Thema a model can go very very wrong... I love it too. Absolutely 80s, replacing all the chrome with black details, add a piece of black rubber to the boot lid, some nice alloys, voila! That's a great selection - they are all favourites here as well. I also need to get an 8.32. Actually they all are different shades of red, but all are darker than normal red, some metallic and some not. Fantastic group and very cool that you found them al in the same color. Thanks!
The matching colours are a coincidence. I bought the Granada earlier this year, and when I searched for some other models to have a nice group to put on display it was obvious I could do this matching colour thing.
