In 1978 there was a Vega like that in orange next to my school- first and last I've ever seen here. Nice ads!

In 1978 there was a Vega like that in orange next to my school- first and last I've ever seen here. Nice ads! My family lived in Vienna in 1970-71. I was aware of the new American cars but didn't see many in Austria. But the very first Chevy Vega I ever saw was on the streets of Luxemburg in August 1971.

Boy do i remember those Spirit of America editions, my Dad had a Blazer with those stars/stripes.

The two T2 models side by side show off the main difference: the Brazilian car has rear side windows that wrap around the D pillar, where the German car has its engine air intakes.
