...you might want to check it out. I bought this EB 16.4 Veyron Show Car in Grey/Silver used back in 2017. I took some photos to list it on eBay and noticed the paint is cracking. Click image below for larger version.

As far as I can tell it is the paint only. The metal is very solid. FWIW it's very hard to notice but I was still surprised to see this. I have a blue/black Vernon too and that one does not have this issue so thinking it may be something with the paint used on this particular model.

My AA 43 Veyrons have never been out of their boxes so it'll be interesting if it's only affecting cars which have been exposed to the atmosphere and / or experienced temperature changes..

I’ve checked mine and, I’m very happy to report that there’s nothing wrong with it!

If it was "zinc pest" the paint would be unharmed, but bubbles and "crunch" would appear from underneath the paint. After my experience zinc pest was an issue with old models, from the 60s and 70s and even before. It's a pity, of course. And now the cheap joke: Bugatti presented dozens of "special versions" of the Veyron, so make yours a one-off "centennial EB carrara marble edition". Sorry...

That is a great suggestion Jean! Too late though as it already sold on eBay (condition fully disclosed) and the new owner seems quite happy with it as they left positive feedback.

You won't believe it, I've just found this one by chance:
So perhaps your Bugatti Veyron really is no damage...
