Nice model, typical solid-looking Brooklin. I have a soft spot for the Manhattan for some reason, it's a friendly-looking car. Scratched that itch by adding the Argentinean-assembled version from the PW.
The Manhattan was assembled in Amsterdam from CKD kits for a few years.

Thumbs up from me for the last Brooklin. Mine is the regular blue and I quite like the design, the front window in particular.

Very nice model of the beautiful Kaiser! Thanks Julio. It's an older Brooklin so kind of chunky. We share the Argentinian version. Interesting that they were assembled in Amsterdam. Thumbs up from me for the last Brooklin. Mine is the regular blue and I quite like the design, the front window in particular. Thanks. The blue version is very nice and I am tempted to buy one.

Repeat after me 'Paul must stop buying models' . Mainly as I have spent too much of late. Recently five new Goldvargs came in at my regular supplier, not the first time that they have arrived in bulk. Then Vectis have had some nice items at a couple of auctions so eight more models acquired, five on Wednesday alone, luckily I was outbid on some other stuff. Last but not least my local auction house held a sale last Saturday thus I perused their catalogue. Loads of tractors (this is a rural area), lorries so I thought it would be not for me. Until I came to the page that had about 20 lots of Australian touring car racers, noooo. This is the second time that they have had a batch of these which is kind of weird for a small auction house in a small town. Let's face it, it's a bit of a niche subject and I already have some models and went to the famous race at Bathurst twice so I keep wondering who it is that had such good taste. I again was outbid on some lots (phew) but won five so photos attached. I bet Martin will spit his coffee out when looking at the Holdens . I am pleased to get them though and as it's local yesterday I collected them thus no postage charges. Also had another GT40 arrive from Italy today from Mondo Motors. It raced in the BOAC Six Hours at Brands Hatch in 1968 so I had to have it because, wait for it Martin, I was there. Edit: Local swapmeet tomorrow, cue more stuff arriving at Impala Towers.

It just so happens that I am having a coffee as I write this Paul and the liquid has managed to stay in the relevant locations!
That sure is a fantastic haul of some great machines. I can forgive the hi-hum Holdens as the group includes two of the magnificent Dick Johnson XE Falcons, firm favourites in this house. The Allan Moffat A9X is also a highlight here - the model was allowed in my collection purely because of the Moffat connection - a good excuse to add one of the good looking A9Xs. I’m pleased to see the Super Touring Volvo as well - such a pity we couldn’t have had more years of this type of racing over here.

What a treasure chest find Paul! So much variety and quality on display here. You're going to enjoy unboxing and photographing that bunch...and perhaps you'll bring us along?

That is some haul. The only way to stop the buying i've found is to simply not look at all the various sources i have. It kind of works

I am telling myself every single day that I have to stop as well ... and more and more new models end up in the collection. It is like any other addiction. So thankful that I am not gambling/drinking/smoking or drugs addict.
Beautiful models there, especially the golden Ford GT.

...and I was feeling guilty buying more than two models a month! Amazing haul, my friend!!! I always feel guilty when buying models Julio, I think it comes from coming from a humble family background when money was in short supply. Thanks Paul. Cheers Tom. I already have a green XE Falcon but was after the blue version. The Moffat A9X is a good addition, I had forgotten that he also drove Holdens. I had to have the Volvo as it was paired with another model I wanted, not sure if I'll keep it. What a treasure chest find Paul! So much variety and quality on display here. You're going to enjoy unboxing and photographing that bunch...and perhaps you'll bring us along? Thank you Brooks, I was happy to win some lots and wish I had the money for more. I cannot promise as to how long it might be before I photograph them properly but you'll see them here. Eventually! Thanks! Outstanding! My eyes go to the GT40 and that fabulous Chevy Nova Cheers Jeff. I have more GT40s hiding that should really make an appearance. I have another model of that Nova, I think it was raced in three liveries, my other one is black with stripes. That is some haul. The only way to stop the buying i've found is to simply not look at all the various sources i have. It kind of works Sadly I do not the willpower to not look although I have stopped trawling through eBay. I am telling myself every single day that I have to stop as well ... and more and more new models end up in the collection. It is like any other addiction. So thankful that I am not gambling/drinking/smoking or drugs addict. Beautiful models there, especially the golden Ford GT. It is addictive isn't it? I love buying them but need a huge lottery win to be able to display them all. But it is my main hobby along with my two classic cars and I do not drink or smoke.
