Amazing haul! The sightseeing bus is my favourite by a significant margin. You got lucky with the American Cars PW too, Paul!

A fantastic haul all the way around! Looking at the Brinks truck suddenly made me nostalgic for when I worked at the bank and a Brinks armored car very similar made daily deliveries of cash and coin. The Corgi breakdown was a favorite that never survived childhood, but great memories. Impressive Paul!

What a fabulous haul, Paul! Hard to pick a favourite! If I had that kind of swap meets where I live I would be completely ruined!

All kinds of good stuff there Paul.
I have been working in a number of brinks facilities the last few months. Growing up, the people across the street from me had a Buick Wildcat just like that one. My good friend had that same Camaro except hi was black. And I had a Monte Carlo of that same vintage way back then.

You did really good on that day Paul, WoW! You're covering all the bases here but the ones that stand out personally are the 1970s US cars. Those partworks Wildcat, AMX, Camaro AND Monte Carlo that I've never seen modelled before. They look extremely well done and presumably for a fair price. These PW cars are unfortunately hard to find on these shores Congrats on such super finds...your already nice display just upticked a new notches!

There's a lot to like here Paul - the Cortinas and Zephyr/caravan combo do stand out. I'd also add the blue Mini - I'm pretty sure I had this as part of a 3-car set when I was a a kid, with the Monte Carlo winning car and Peter Seller's one.

Amazing haul! The sightseeing bus is my favourite by a significant margin. You got lucky with the American Cars PW too, Paul! I had given up finding that bus Tom. A friend is slowly buying up a fellow's collection of around 20,000 models, the guy lives in a two bed apartment which is crammed with stuff as is a lock up garage. The American Cars PW models come from there, I had already bought around ten, found a couple more on eBay and then added these. As for the former owner, he is moving into sheltered accommodation, my friend is buying his collection yet even as he sorts stuff at the guy's home more models arrive with every post. Madness. Thanks Jerry, I had been after the Brinks truck for a while and didn't think that of course the US members here would have seen them. The Corgi breakdown land Rover is the early version with flat hubs and no suspension, I have the later version which came with my lovely Xmas present circa 1965 of the Corgi Silverstone racing Gift Set. What a fabulous haul, Paul! Hard to pick a favourite! If I had that kind of swap meets where I live I would be completely ruined! Thanks Julio. It is very easy to overspend which is what I always seem to do! Cheers Paul. All kinds of good stuff there Paul. I have been working in a number of brinks facilities the last few months. Growing up, the people across the street from me had a Buick Wildcat just like that one. My good friend had that same Camaro except hi was black. And I had a Monte Carlo of that same vintage way back then. Thank you Jeff. Brinks are still going, great. A friend had a '66 Wildcat coupe which my '66 Catalina 2+2 blew the doors off of, another had one and my '58 Belair with a 283 dusted it. Nice looking cars. I had a '73 Grand Prix that was black so fairly similar to the Monte Carlo. I did Brooks after a slow start! It was nice to pick up those US cars as the PW is not available here either, I did buy a Javelin and a '69 Mustang from eBay too. No idea where I shall find the space to display them though. Thanks Alex. There's a lot to like here Paul - the Cortinas and Zephyr/caravan combo do stand out. I'd also add the blue Mini - I'm pretty sure I had this as part of a 3-car set when I was a a kid, with the Monte Carlo winning car and Peter Seller's one. I have wanted a nice pale blue Dinky Cortina for ages, it was a bonus to get the Politoys version as well. You may have had the blue Mini in the same set as me? It was the Corgi car transporter set with six cars, mine had the blue Mini plus the wickerwork version and a Monte Carlo car and a Rover 2000, Hillman Imp and Cortina estate. You can see it in the Dinky section.

Great looking model, Paul!
I’ve never seen a Conquest model in the flesh! I remember that they made lots of interesting US cars from the 1950s, among them a couple of Imperials that I wanted badly!

Two tone version is much nicer. Expensive in their day but looking pretty basic by today's standards.

Those were sold at the diecast swapmeets here. Very impressive models, really nicely made and indeed quite expensive. I admired them from afar. Great job getting one for a good price!

Great looking Olds! I have one Conquest model, a Jaguar 420. I was never quite sure of the extent of their range. Nice find!
Glad to see you are steps closer to getting your Chevy back on the road Paul.
