Great looking model, Paul! I’ve never seen a Conquest model in the flesh! I remember that they made lots of interesting US cars from the 1950s, among them a couple of Imperials that I wanted badly! Their range had models that had not been made by others. I have acquired some over the years but some are quite elusive. Two tone version is much nicer. Expensive in their day but looking pretty basic by today's standards. I agree, the two tone is prettier. They are a bit basic but still look good. Those were sold at the diecast swapmeets here. Very impressive models, really nicely made and indeed quite expensive. I admired them from afar. Great job getting one for a good price! They are nice but can be hard to find for a good price. Great looking Olds! I have one Conquest model, a Jaguar 420. I was never quite sure of the extent of their range. Nice find! Glad to see you are steps closer to getting your Chevy back on the road Paul. They had a good range of US cars and also some Rovers, I do have a small catalogue somewhere. The engine should be being built now, I shall check on progress next week. Some real heavy metal there! Indeed, both the real thing and the models.

What a fantastic-looking car and model. Pretty sure I wouldn't be able to resist that either.

It's always been one of my favorite turn left cars.
