That's a beautiful model! Thanks, Tom! It surely is a beautiful model! Very nice Imperial, might have to try and track one down. What year is it Julio? Sorry that your mother has dementia, my father had vascular dementia for about a year until he died in 2008, it's a horrible and cruel disease. Thanks for your comments, mate! Senile dementia is indeed quite a cruel disease! The model is a 1961 Imperial! That’s a good way to describe it, mate!

That's another lovely and timeless Imperial. Wishing you and your Mother strength Julio. Our family has experienced this first hand unfortunately as many here also probably have. You're a good son for helping in any way that you can

Let me offer my words of support as well Julio. We recently lost a longstanding member of our local model club to Dementia, and I can sympathise with what you must be going through.

May I also past on positive thoughts re your current situation Julio. I am dealing with a similar situation as my father was diagnosed with Alzheimers nearly 2 years ago. He is quite stable at the moment and is still living with my mother - they are a 5min walk from our home. His world is getting smaller but he still has things to do each week that bring him joy and does like to visit us to watch our cats playing. We know it won't always be like this, so are enjoying the times we have. It is an insidious illness and much too common. Stay strong my friend.

These four models arrived this Wednesday! The two CMF models are simply amazing and their packaging is quite impressive! The tiny 1:87 1959 Imperial is accurate and very cute, and the 1:64 1957 Imperial is beautiful but, unfortunately, it’s got an incorrect (1958) grille! Better photos will eventually be shown!

Nice models from CMF who were a great new addition to the collector's market when they were launched a few years back with an interesting and diverse range of high quality models. Unfortunately they seem to have gone the same way as Neo - South. I wonder, did you get these in the Model Car World sale? If so you have access to a resource that we Brits do not share as they no longer post to the UK although they do list such major model car markets as Antarctica and Tuvalu on their site!

Nice batch, looking forward to your pictures! Thanks, Tom! Much better photos will be posted, eventually! It is quite a nicely detailed model, considering its smaller scale! I’m very satisfied with both of these CMF models, mate! I have never really noticed them until one day, when I left a comment in Facebook about a Jay Leno video I had seen that featured the Duesenberg, Keko answered it and told me that it was available as a model and suggested me to look for it at Model Car World’s site. I did and then a few months ago I noticed the Imperial too. So, I was just waiting for them to be on sale (yes, the recent Model Car World sale)! MCW no longer sends models to the UK?

Since they arrived last Wednesday, I’ve been looking at my models, examining them closely, enjoying them! Tonight, I noticed that the Imperial, by CMF, has two numbers. One of them begins with “NEO”… I wonder if CMF models are made by Neo…
