I got this P 1800 from Dinky Toys a couple of years ago. Corgi's shape looked better, but this one has good details, better interior, and I decided to work on it.
I had to make new bumpers out of Evergreen, and it seemed a simple job. I'm still trying to figure out a way of doing the complex front grill. But the chromed elements are an important feature in this interesting car, so they became the main issue here.
To do straight chromed lines I use tape on the sides to protect the painted body. But the curved lines around the window wont allow this method. They were done with Molotow pens.
Does anyone has a better way of doing those?
