I put together an order but after thinking on it, I decided not to hit the button. Nothing there that i was seeking out, just decent deals on some cars I liked.

X2. Was really looking forward to this and there are some nice models (VWs, Semi-Trucks IMHO) but I just couldn't pull the trigger.
When you have 800 + cars stored away giving no joy and you have a multitude of other concerns and goals, I just really cannot find the spirit.
Hopefully those interested do find some bargains?

I felt the same, plus I've managed to pick up just about every Ixo I want recently. It would boil down to new liveries for race or rally cars that I already have.

I'm mulling over a few, but the majority are to resell at our local toyfairs rather than going into the collection.

Just had a look through the previous auction results and it's a sobering experience for anyone who ever thought collecting models is an investment.... Despite being on here every day I'd forgotten it was happening. A few Oz and Japanese J-Collection and EBBRO diecast would have appealed to me although I did secure a few pre-Ebay..
My last item bought via a Japanese intermediary was the J-Collection blue Lexus LF-A. Rumour had it that there was a problem with the paint quality/finish so it disappeared quickly. As far as I could tell mine looked to be ok.
It was a Japan Lexus Dealer model. I made enquiries with UK Lexus who had no knowledge of promo models...
Minichamps came along with their LF-A soon after to keep my blue one company.
Also way back in 1999 St Martins Models had a few early EBBRO Toyota 2000GT and NSX MkII on their shelves.
Pre ebay I had to resort to the Collector magazines to get hold of an EBBRO red Honda NSX Mk1 from Canada. Nailing these was a definite challenge.

I did manage to put together a small order of 6 models, I should have them on December 6th. We look forward to your selections? Always quick service & wonderful free shipping from IXO direct, only concern is they sometimes want to 'flatpack' in large padded envelopes, anyone else notice this. I've only had one cracked case from about 40 cars so I've never mentioned it until now.

I've never had that happen and while 1 damaged case out of 40 isn't bad, it's still a bit of a downer when you're opening the box. Knock on wood, my packages have always arrived in good shape, and I agree, their service and prices are great.

Great prices, indeed!
I would have gone crazy, a couple of years ago. Now, with my current restrictive themes there’s only one model that I really would love to order: the late 30’s big Mercedes! 😬

I've done the same...life will go on without more cars. Especially when we have so much already.
And look at it this way, there just might be even bigger sales in the future? Maybe that's the time to bite without regret?

Well BB, I must confess that my restrait comes, not from will power but from lack of funds!

Even though I have not bought a 1:43 since 6/25/22, there is a single newer release Autocult release that is really calling my name. That just might be my one personal splurge...just maybe!

Don't say I didn't warn you? You asked
1978 Cadillac ElDorado Sbarro "TAG" Function Car in 1:43 by Autocult
The Cadillac is not really anymore outrageous that my last purchase back in June...
1977 Panther Six by Bizarre
Both brands are ones I've followed since I was a kid and the fascination never fades. Again, there are just so few new releases that I just 'need', so in a way that's a good thing.
