After a long tease with 1/18 and 1/64 scale models, they finally decided it was time to make the gorgeous De Tomaso P72 into 1/43 scale too:

The 1:1 on show at Goodwood Festival of Speed a couple of years ago was very much 'in your face'!

Looks straight out of Star Wars! First time that I see a good flip-flop paint in 1:43.

Gotta get one of those! Any news on the De Tomaso? Dunno, Spark did some pretty good flip-flop TVRs.

Quality looks amazing! …its design reminds me of GM’s Firebird III… My thought exactly the same!! Not a big fan of the real thing but the model looks great, like a great great grandson of Firebird 3.

Speaking of flip flop paint, its predecessor, the Apollo Intensa Emozione is also in present my collection, another Peako model in Golden Dragon livery: I just love how Apollo just carved out a style of their own, which may be lunatic, but is devoid of redundant shapes, trap in which Lamborghini, Pagani, Koenigsegg and McLaren somehow fell. I can also appreciate that they don't tease endlessly with concepts and spy photos like Aston Martin did with the Valkirye, or Mercedes with the AMG One, to the point that people got bored with the cars by the time they hit the streets. Gotta get one of those! Any news on the De Tomaso? Sadly no news on the P72, I would love to have that model very much.
