As is customary at this time of year, tell us what were your best three new acquisitions this year.
Looking through my own purchases, I was surprised at how few new releases I received this year and the vast majority were older models from eBay etc. Here's my top three new releases:
1963 #35 Alfa Romeo Giulietta SZ (Spark)... a fairly simple model but nicely executed by Spark:
1973 #27 Chevron B23 (DSN)... the new 3-D printed resin models from DSN (aka Trofeu) were a welcome addition this year. Not quite to Spark's level, but to date the only producer of the '73 / '74 Chevrons:
2021 #64 Chevrolet Corvette C8-R (Spark)... not everyone is a fan of the new Corvette shape, but I was very happy to add this one to my collection:
What were your favourites this year?

Easy peasy choice for me. Ford J Car, been waiting for this one to be released for over a decade. Ford GT MKIV One of my all time favorite race cars. Nice to have a quality 1:43 of it. IROC Camaro I was a very impressionable young teen when this car raced, I thought it was fantastic and so happy to have a model of it all these years later.

That Pegaso is gorgeous, Keko! I also liked the Alfa and, believe it or not, the Corvette shown above!

Not a great year for new additions as far as I'm concerned but that is probably due to the fact that in 30 years of collecting I now have most of the available models I wanted. Still, my top 3 of the year were long awaited... Autocult Probe 16 Matrix Pontiac Cirrus Yow Modellini Alfa BAT11 Not a great representation but a model I really needed and at least Yow had a go!

I added very few models this year, and they were all very similar, so choosing three was a bit hard. Nevertheless, here I go… I am very delighted with my most recent arrivals, especially since both of these are my first and only CMF models. I loved their quality! 1935 Duesenberg J Walker-LaGrande coupé, by CMF 1956 Crown Imperial “King Saud” limousine Ghia, by CMF I bought a couple of Imperial models (made by GLM) this year, but I guess that this is the one I liked best (ordered late in 2021, but arrived in 2022): 1956 Crown Imperial limousine, by GLM

Very good choices Julio. CMF made really good models of very nice subjects. The King Saud Imperial is very tempting...

Not that much new items for me in 2022. And a top 3 is always difficult. But I guess these are my favourites. If only I had the BAT11 Bertone has in his top 3, it shure would have been in mine too. Bertone Alfa Romeo Navajo by Matrix was a must have for me. Looks great, and a real classic. Porsche Vision GT by Spark, because it would be a nice new design direction for Porsche. Bugatti EB110 by TSM. Didn't plan to buy it, because I have enough EB110s in my collcection. But it is just a ver very nice model.

Nice trio and like you I didn't buy much last year. I did buy the Navajo to replace my old Alezan but unlike you I didn't feel the need to add the Bug as I have enough (2) already.

(Thanks to Jerry for the decals)
(Thanks to Stewie. This set was on my wish list since I was a kid.)
(a Bang conversion. I can't believe Spark hasn't done this one.)
