No I'm not there. There is a NAMAC team at the fair, so it might be worthy to check that link later, for more news.

Maybe I'm just getting old, but didn't see even 1 'car' that I'd feel compelled to buy. However, the Diecast Masters Caterpillar and heavy trucks display was extremely interesting! They look huge though.
My personal request is for more unmodified Japanese 'classics' from about 1970 to 2000 at IXO prices. Anyone else agree? It seems that so many other themes/genres have already been covered.

Ditto, although I'd include the '60s.

1:18 models often seem to dominate at events like the Nuremburg Fair, I guess because they display better. I don't think I've ever been too excited by the pictures I've seen from the show, except for a few years ago when I spotted the Scuderia Filipinetti Landrover on the TSM display.

Even BBR started making them, not to mention new brands specializing in this scale and introducing many cars never modelled in 1/43. I am also surprised to see that so far I can't find any thorough report on the scale models from the fair.. What happened?

I only ever look for 1:43 when searching for models so don't take a lot of notice of 1:64. However, this last weekend I was at an event where there were two model car sellers and they both had a mountain of new 1:64 releases, everything from A$30 Le Mans/Sportscar winners to A$130 for some amazing Ferrari 250 GTOs. 1:64 does seem to be "flavour of the month" - one I will be staying away from for fear of going down another rabbit hole!
