This is a serious candidate to be my favourite car ever. In Classic & Sports Car magazine of January 2001, the great John Surtees mentioned a conversation he had with Enzo Ferrari by the time he was running for Ferrari, by 1963/64. At some point, looking at a Lusso parked nearby, the Commendatore said: “That car is too beautiful. A Ferrari should look fierce and angry.” I totally agree, many other Ferraris have that fierce and angry look, this one is just too beautiful. Bought this PW model on Ebay last year, and it looked pretty good, with many good details and faithfull interior. One major flaw, however. I had to add the subtile curves on top of front wheelarches to get a proper shape, no problem. The car looks great in every factory colour, but my favourite is this dark red. Chrome in bumpers were repainted, and Borrani wheels were imperative to get a proper Lusso. Reshaping the front wheelarches Quite good interior And final result

The base model is a good representation of a wonderful car (and is in a few collections around here I think, including mine), but your enhancements have taken it to another level. Great work!

Impressive work to re-sculpture the front wings. I like it a lot.

Not just the most beautiful Ferrari but one of he most beautiful cars ever made. Nice transformation, the paint finish is exemplary but a pair of etched wipers would have been preferable I think.

Nice paint job and re-shaping of wings. It's a tricky shape to get right for the model manufacturer. When compared to the real car (brochure pics on the 'net) the slim a,b, and c pillars are almost impossible to replicate in 1:43.

I agree. Wipers are inexpensive but elevate the model beyond their cost. I agree with you both. I have a spare of etched wipers, but couldn't find it... after 6 or 7 weeks of work in this car, I was running out of patience. But will go back to this subject soon, the car in fact deserves better wipers
