18 months old already. Does not seem like it had been that long.
Sad to not be able to keep the old place but the time had come. So happy that we have been able to continue as a community here.

I enjoy being here with fellow model collectors with a great depth of knowledge and splendid collections. I echo Tom, it feels like home especially as I very rarely get to talk models with actual people now. What is also good are the different nationalities here with various interests in collecting.

Like others, its been great to be part of this small community and the move across to the new forum has been pretty seemless. As with most forums, its a bit of a revolving door as collectors come and go from the hobby, but it nice that we have a fairly steady core of long term members.
Without taking away from our time here as the 'new' forum, in another 3 months we will mark 15 years since the original forum started. It's very impressive that we've kept it going all this time. I wonder how many model purchases that has accounted for in that time!

Another grateful member here! As before, I applaud the efforts of Jeff, Andy, Ian, Tom and anyone else 'behind' the scenes doing the actual work to give and maintain the platform. I have many fond memories of time spent here and all that we share and learn.
I really feel like I 'know' more than a few you here as friends! I have even met Jeff in person which was also a milestone of the ongoing experience.
Really hope this corner of our world continues for as long as it's enjoyable and feasible for all of us. And as Ian mentioned, this site is surely driving boxes of cash to more than a few sellers of our passion! |

Happy anniversary for everyone and Jeff in particular!
I miss our old forum format a bit, but times change and the most important thing is to have a space to get together and share our passion! Let's make it happen for another 15 years!

This "new" Forum has been a win-win all round, so many thanks to Jeff and the Team for making the switch and keeping us all entertained and in line. The Forum manages to bring together a disparate bunch of hooligans and misfits, drawn in by an addiction for these damn "little cars". Long may it continue.
