After WWII, the cars at Le Mans kept on getting faster, hitting remarkable speeds on the long Mulsanne Straight. It marked the end of an era when drivers made their famous dash across the track to start the race which made many cars and drivers legendary.

Damn, did I put a non Le Mans GT40 MkII in here? If so, I'll get rid of that picture. All of you guys have some excellent collections - have you ever taken videos of your displays? There just aren't enough videos of decent 1/43 displays on youtube.
