I was rummaging through some boxes today and found this little fellow. Can't remember ever posting it. It is ages old and was an IXO clearance item. My favourite kind! This is Ray Bellm's Mac F1 GTR chassis 02R that won the 1000km of Suzuka in 1995 I have so many Macs...

Mac F1s can be a collection by themselves... Good livery and very nice model!

This only makes me wonder what other Gems are hidden away, yet to be rediscovered!

They certainly are in my case. I have two longtails I'll post a bit later where I lucked out and got them both signed so they are extra special to me! Great looking model of a fantastic car! Thanks~Cheers Julio This only makes me wonder what other Gems are hidden away, yet to be rediscovered! It makes me wonder the same thing Martin. Having to repost my collection will reintroduce me to some little friends I haven't seen in years. Very nice and a bargain is always good. Very true, my collection would be far smaller if I paid full price for them. (management around here calls it fool price....)

This was the one everybody wanted, I know I did. Thanks Jeffy! I have a few Macs that raced in the JGTC over the years. One of these days I need to do a census.....but not today.
Found this little guy at an outrageous clearance and I did succumb. This was the first year that the C8R competed at the 24 Heurs du Mans. 2nd place in Class, not too bad a showing straight out of the gate.

And in classic Corvette yellow and black! I have a civilian C8 and could see me adding this at some point. Excellent model Scott!

Another bargain, I like your style! I would have bought it too, nothing to do with the fact that I like Chevys, no sirree. Looks good in yellow and black.

Hard to imagine that Vette not being in your collection.

Black and yellow seem to always work on a Corvette - almost to the point of them being the 'national colors'? Congrats on the bargain addition, but you would never know it.

It's a good looking vehicle for sure, although I do miss the old front-engined Corvette days. These new ones do look a bit like many of the other mid-engined offerings. AS a bargain offering, how could you refuse.
