I check international obituaries nearly everyday, always most interested in people of notoriety that won't necessarily make the news.
Anyway, amongst the names was a legend many will be familiar with in these parts.
The designer of perhaps the most famous and arguably beautiful supercars/sportscars of our lifetime.
RIP Marcello Gandidi (1938 - 2024).
A link below and just some of his designs!
Lamborghini Miura, Countach AND Diablo AND Espada AND Urraco + others (WOW!!!!!)
Fiat X/19 Alfa Montreal Citroen BX Renault 5 Turbo Later variations of the DeTomaso Pantera originally penned by the late Tom Tjaarda Maserati Khamsin and some wild evolutions of the Biturbo

Sad news, he designed some great cars especially the Miura. For that alone he achieved greatness but then you see some of the others too.

For me there's no duds in the cars that have been mentioned - a wonderful designer.

A sad loss to Automotive Design. I was proud to own and run one of Gandini's creations - the Fiat X1/9 in 1977-78..
