OK, the regulars here know I am not really a numbered car guy. I'm also not F1 familiar. Please explain why 47 IXOs might be worth this much...with 3 days of bidding to go?
Now what I do know is that the above site pulls crazy numbers for all sorts of auctions...ever see a nearly 'new' car bring almost 200K USD over list, ahahaha:

In all seriousness, while there is a lot of work that has gone into the diorama and the actual collecting of the models, "tell him he's dreaming" as we say over here. Even if you allow for $100 per model (which is other the top I know) that's still 8 grand for the display!
