As some of you have read on my introduction page, i'm building a new wall hanging cabinet for my 1/43 scale Ferrari's.
The old one was also self build, but it was never te cabinet as i had in mind. So i wrecked it a couple of yeara ago, but kept the glass shelves, with the intension of using them again.
This was my old cabinet that could hold about 70 models, but i had the shelves pretty far apart, so the overall hight was to much, and i couldn't see the 2 top shelves properly. (The underside of the models isn't that interesting  )

So time for a new one! I have 9 glass shelves that i can use. I keep the distance between them much less than the old one, but far enough to see the models. The overall hight of the cabinet is now 60cm instead of 85 cm of the old one.

I just started this weekend,
The inside is going to be painted dark grey, en around the outside is coming white oak to match the rest of the house furniture.
I hope i have a update at the end of the week!
Photos are added later!

I am making some progress on the cabinet. I made all the slots for the glass shelves, and glued te whole thing together. Now i have painted the inside matt dark grey. It is drying now, but when its dry, i will post some photos. It's looking awesome in my opinion! I also made a beginning on the oak outside. Thanks for.whatching, and comments (good or bad) are welcome

Well, i had some spare time yesterday, and made a little progress. I glued the outside of the cabinet and made them to length. The idea is, that te oak outside holds the glass, and i can remove the whole thing to gett to the inside. I hate it when there is a line in the middle of the glass.
Now i can glue it together, and order the glass.

Made some good process this weekend. I finished the oak outside and it fits perfectly.
Now i have to order the glass, and make it complete dustfree with some foam specialy for glass. And hang it on the wall ofcourse!
And after that, the fun begins

I think one of the reasons you're not really getting responses is that there are no pictures showing in the thread for anyone.
