Thanks for all your suggestions, I could be quite busy! Just got this one today, nice TSM model from Cartima in Germany at a nice eBay auction price. I just copy/pasted this across from S143 to restart Women Drivers and also to see if that bought images in as well, which it does

This is how this thread started way back in primordial times.
“Within my new Favourites collection I seem to be developing sub categories, one of which is Fangio. Decided also to celebrate Women drivers (didn’t like Lady or Female!) I’ve already planned on various Pat Moss and Lella Lombardi cars and searched for 1/43 Danica Patrick models to no avail. Every other scale but not ours! Mark at GP Models told me about Formula Models FM29/30 but these seem to be long gone. Any help would be much appreciated. I’m especially keen because my seven year old granddaughter shares her name (Danica not Patrick!). Also any suggestions for other drivers?”
I’ll try bringing some more posts over to try and recreate the essence of this thread.

Still looking for a Danica Patrick car, Alex has been helpful. Various 1/43 decals are available mainly for Chevy Impalas ca 2010 but what to use as a source for conversion? Police and road cars are available but the only NASCAR’s available seem to be slot cars in other liveries. I’ve no experience of these, are they reasonable models to at least PW standard? Any advice welcomed. Obviously an Indy car is preferable as this was her better metier.

Just got the Sheila Van Damm 1957 Mille Miglia Sunbeam Rapier. A nice hefty model by Landsdowne/Brooklin. The Jabekke Alpine record car will now go into the Moss collection.

Just added this nice Trofeu Pat Moss car to the collection. It replaces a Vanguards Mini Cooper and is a better model which represents a successful period when she partnered her husband Erik Carlsson in the Saab works team. She finished 5th in the 1964 Monte Carlo Rally, Erik finished 3rd.

Another worthy addition:- Anne Hall. During a career that spanned the second half of the 20th Century, Anne Hall competed in 13 Montes, 12 RACs, 11 Alpines, seven Tulips, four Safari events and four Acropolis events. She won a roomful of Ladies’ Cups along with other awards, held a joint European Ladies Rally Championship in 1955 and was a member of the exclusive British rallying club Ecurie Cod Fillet. Corgi commemorated the spot as third overall finisher at the East African Safari Rally in 1961 with a model of her Ford Zephyr. I’ll post more photos when I extricate the model from the packaging!
