Been having trouble resizing pics on Imgur - these are some of the randoms that did shrink.... Matrix Pontiac Vivant A one-off built by A Pontiac engineer rather than a legit concept. Perhaps if Bertone had built a BAT convertible, it would have looked like this. As I have almost completed my collection of late 60's/early 70's concepts and '30's deco/streamliners, I have been spreading my net further, mainly to 70's F1 aero experiments and late 50's - early 70's yank tanks..... Goldvarg 1964 Mercury Breezeway Fairly humdrum from the waist down but I just can't resist a reverse rake rear screen. And, it's pink; I just don't have enough pink cars in my collection. And here's an F1 car... Spark Ensign N179

Love the Pontiac and the Mercury, very different but both are very attractive models.

I also have that Mercury in the same colour, it's very nice. The Pontiac is great especially with the eight lug wheels which were an option from 1960 until about 1968 on the full size cars only. As you like cars with a reverse rake screen here is my Ford Anglia, these were famous for having such a feature.

I quite liked the Pontiac..... until I got to the Ensign - brilliantly bonkers.

I love that Mercury! 🖤
I’m crazy about those reverse slanted back windows!

Ensign it wonderful. Not sure the aero experiment worked but at least you had a step to sit on!

As you like cars with a reverse rake screen here is my Ford Anglia, these were famous for having such a feature. The Anglia is probably the best known Reverse raker and your example looks splendid. My favourite production car would however have to be the 1958 Lincoln as beautifully modelled by Neo... . The one I'd really like is the outrageous 1958 Ford Galaxie concept which I'm hopeful Matrix or Autocult will produce in due course.... The Ensign is insane which is why I like it of course. My 70's F1 collection is quite near completion with 30 odd examples. I have managed to hoover up many that I missed with 4 still outstanding and a couple of future releases pencilled in.

Mustn't forget the Ford Consul Classic Saloon to make the set. That car was almost as much as a revelation as the '59 Anglia. My neighbour was first in town to have the Anglia 1200 Super De Luxe which appeared in 1962 from memory. Car had a contrasting side stripe. Consul Classic saloon was a poor seller in UK although I loved the'61 Capri Coupe for it's pseudo Yankee styling and twin headlights. Funny how the German Ford operation resisted the overt styling we Brits took on board. Possibly a wise move in hindsight.
Btw: Cool Anglia Paul.
One further comment about the 1:43 Corgi Consul Classic. I hated the beige body and maroon roof they chose when cream over blue would have been far more in keeping with the real deal. Mono colours on the 1:1 were unfortunately dull.

Matrix Jensen Nova Vignale 1967 Not as beautiful as the Interceptor but a handsome, purposeful looking machine. Matrix have also made a white version with correct changes to the bodywork on that version. If anyone is interested in this acquiring this model, then may I suggest they go to the UK Jensen owners club site. This is where I bought mine for £55 + £6 postage in the UK.

Cool! That’s indeed quite handsome! I was just reading about that Jensen yesterday in my new Vignale book!

Nice Jensen, and Matrix did a good job on both versions with completely different styling of the rear end.
