Great model, but the car does look like it could have fronted up for Wacky Races rather than LM!

Very interesting looking Bristol! Thanks Julio. If it feels familiar, it might be because of this:
I try to envision how radical that car must have seemed in 1953. Nice add! Has anyone ever produced thex1955 roadsters? Even the concept of wind tunnel testing must have been very advanced for the 1950's Jerry.
I'm sure it won't surprise you to know that Bizarre have produced the three 1955 Roadsters.
I've always liked those for the styling, very Bristol. Nice! Of the three different Bristol's ('53, '54 & '55), the '54 Coupe is definitely my favourite Tom. Great model, but the car does look like it could have fronted up for Wacky Races rather than LM! Great model, but the car does look like it could have fronted up for Wacky Races rather than LM! Sums it up pretty well. But it is very cool for the time. That's probably what most of their competitors thought before the race. I suspect they weren't still smiling to themselves when Bristol took 1-2-3 in class. Yes Paul, the Bristol's were a perfect subject for Bizarre.

Thanks! I will need to save my allowance for one! At least there are three versions to hunt for Jerry. That should make it easier. That old Dinky looks fabulous! I thought you might like that Julio.
Vectis sold a similar Dinky sold for £50 on the 17 March, so its worth roughly the same as the Bizarre:

From the same source as the Ferraris comes this Spark Pescarolo. When it comes to Le Mans, Henri Pescarolo needs little introduction. He competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans a record 33 times, winning on four occasions. The very last of those participations was in 1999 with the Courage shown here. Not only was it his last race at Le Mans as a driver, it also market the start of a new relationship with Le Mans as a team owner, the Courage being entered by Henri's Pescarolo Promotion Racing Team. As I have a large collection of Pescarolo driven and managed cars, this car was an obvious gap in my Pescarolo collection. For his last race at Le Mans, Pescarolo was joined by fellow Frenchmen Michel Ferte and Patrice Gay. Ferte was an experience Le Mans competitor making his 12th appearance, while Gay was making just his second (and last) appearance. They qualified the Courage C50 with its Porsche 935 derived motor in 24th position. Their race was steady rather than spectacular, chipping away to gain places slowly. By the sixth hour they were running 15th, and from the eight to the eighteenth hour they largely remained in 13th position. However, in the final quarter of the race, they gained four places, holding 9th place to the chequered flag. Car : 1999 #14 Courage C50Team : Pescarolo Promotion Racing Team Drivers : Michel Ferté (F)/ Henri Pescarolo (F)/ Patrice Gay (F) Qualifying : 25th Result : 9th Model : Spark (SCCG06)

Nice to see he snuck in a bit if his signature Pescarolo green into the livery.
I did have to look up “Elephant Bleu” and I believe it is a car wash chain.

Pescarolo is one of the fixtures for the 24h. It just isn't the same without him. What a great way to plug a hole in your collection!

That's very nicely finished! SPark can usually be relied upon to produce a good model, even when your buying sight unseen like I was in this case. Nice to see he snuck in a bit if his signature Pescarolo green into the livery. I did have to look up “Elephant Bleu” and I believe it is a car wash chain. That was my understanding too Martin. It's a franchise business...I wonder if Henri has shares in the one in Le Mans:
Anything Henri drove is great in my book! 😁 He drove a great variety of vehicles during his Le Mans history. This one is probably one of the less famous, but its a nice addition all the same Jerry. Pescarolo is one of the fixtures for the 24h. It just isn't the same without him. What a great way to plug a hole in your collection! I agree Tom. I was quite pleased to find this one which isn't seen a lot because it was produced in Spark's early years.

I have contemplated a few times about the viability of putting a Pescarolo collection together. Runs very parallel with Mr Bell as they were racing the same single seaters in the early days. Trouble is once you jump in something else falls by the way side in this collecting game. Nice addition Ian.
