I drive a red car, so I can't fault it. Seems like its almost a mandatory buy if you live in North America.

Nice rendition of the '64 Jeff. I have the IXO '63, fun to spot the differences in the 2 cars! I am with you on the limited buys...however, I bought a 1:43 this morning too, it was a splurge, but something I see about once a year and at a relatively fair price, so it seemed a 'need' rather than a 'want'. HINT? It has 6 wheels I would love a yellow 67 with a black stinger hood on it. Something pulling a trailer? Great minds think alike Jeff, this was one I couldn't resist either. I like it a lot, it doesn't look out of place next to the excellent Spark cabriolet. For the money its hard to find fault here. Little red Corvette. 😁 Nice! Thanks, now that horrible song is stuck in my head Great looking red model! Right and right. New Forum site..... new Jeff? A case of red is the new blue? This is my favourite era of Corvette so I heartedly approve of the colour choice. I did not go looking for this color, it found me. I drive a red car, so I can't fault it. Seems like its almost a mandatory buy if you live in North America. Not for me, it would take quite a turn of events to get me driving a red one. I had to stop all this red nonsense and I had to do it quick! I know this car has been knocked around a bit for its color and other things but I like it and was happy to find it on sale. I have needed to add a coupe for a long time and this one really fills the bill. #3 IXO 1976 Jaguar XJ12C With its bigger brother And it's faster one

Very nice!
Your new Jaguar model looks extremely attractive in your photos! If I didn’t already have its Minichamps relative I’d seriously consider buying one myself!

Blue is my favourite colour and I love the XJC. However, I have a maroon and a green version already, I'll keep it at that. Great addition to your collection though Jeff!

To my eyes, just about the most beautiful street car the company ever made, yes even moreso than the E-Type! I have no problems with the color and this gives my 2 Minichamps a run for their money with the incorrect lack of roof coating! Good value buy Jeff!

A very big reason for the purchase, I did not have one. Color did not bother me in the least as I have no frame of reference as to what it "should" be. The last of my trio of new arrivals, this one was put in the cart to achieve the free shipping so the actual cost on this was very low.Good thing as the quality is in sync with the price. Some roughness to this one. While there is no denying the performance of the C8 and the value is even more impressive, the car leaves me cold. I do not find the look all that attractive and it is even unappealing at some angles. Not very original either. I am also of the belief that a Corvette needs to have its engine ahead of the driver but that is my age talking. Despite al this, I still did not mind the idea of adding one to the shelf. #4 IXO 2021 Corvette Ketchup and Mustard.

I see that yours has some minor paint issues, what a shame. I agree that this is not the most attractive or original design, but it’s still a Corvette. Congrats, great way to avoid shipping.

Congrats Jeff on the bargain-bin buy! It seems you've beat a lot of us to C8 ownership. A little bit surprised to see the quality control issues on this one, where was it made? Is IXO outsourcing the outsource? I agree on the 1:1...was really impressed for said reasons at first, now it barely turns my neck...I think my age is showing too Jaguar XJ Coupe more than makes up for the rest !

I completely agree with what you’ve said about that Corvette but, as a model and in that colour, it looks quite good!

I too like the color. If Enzo Ferrari could come around to putting the engine behind the driver, you can to Jeff. 😁

Yellow Vette is one of the Centauria supercars part series. Had I not been signed up for the subscription I don't think I would have chosen it voluntarily. I've mentioned that we have a 1:1 in black prowling around the district and I spied it at the petrol station last weekend as I was passing. I just think the chisel edge design was trying too hard and dare I say 'overdone'?

Looks much worse in picture than in the hand. I blame you for the recent Corvette buying. Congrats Jeff on the bargain-bin buy! It seems you've beat a lot of us to C8 ownership. The way they pump these out, its a wonder more don't come out poorly. It does not do much for me either. I completely agree with what you’ve said about that Corvette but, as a model and in that colour, it looks quite good! Yellow is one of the best colors for this car. I too like the color. If Enzo Ferrari could come around to putting the engine behind the driver, you can to Jeff. 😁 I am firmly agin it! Yellow Vette is one of the Centauria supercars part series. I've mentioned that we have a 1:1 in black prowling around the district and I spied it at the petrol station last weekend as I was passing. I just think the chisel edge design was trying too hard and dare I say 'overdone'? Funny as this came in a regular IXO box. I think Overdone is a good description. I too like the color. They made me buy it. I still favpr the previous version (C7) by a large margin. Next is another Vette, my least favorite front engine of the modern (C4 & up) Corvettes. I always thought this car was too big, it needed to be shrunk down but it has grown on me over the years. They took care of the heavy look on the C6 that followed. One other factor was that this one was priced like an IXO. A surprisingly heavy and solid model. #4 1997 C5 Corvette by Minichamps C2 and C5 C5 and C6
