Had to make a bigger car to haul all the owners gold chains. 😁 Model looks like it is spot on!

Minichamps did great job on this Jeff - this must have been one first American-themed cars made by Minichamps? Also always thought these looked 'heavy'. The C4's creases hid the bulk and the C6 must have been a bit smaller yet compared to your model, it's remarkable how close they appear in shape, proportion and size. I have the same C5 and a similar C6 by Spark. Great pics as always

I agree that it looks a bit blobby when compared to the more slimmed down earlier (and later?) cars. Still it's in the right colour, so I'm happy to go along with it.

The C5 looks great with your C2 Jeff. Minichamps or Spark could have marketed those two as a set together. Yes the C5 was a bit oversized, but I guess it was primarily designed to eat up the California freeways, not the Italian alps.
I wonder if there is a 1:43 C6 version available in red?

Great model, I agree with your assessment of the 1:1.

There's definitely something lacking with the latest Vette though the model doesn't look too bad. The older front engine versions are much nicer. Will you be getting the 4 door Esval Vette America?

Had to make a bigger car to haul all the owners gold chains. 😁 Model looks like it is spot on! More likly the extra space was needed to haul the round bellies! Great pics as always Not sure they were sure where they were going with the Corvette with the C5, I always thought of it as a place holder. I agree that it looks a bit blobby when compared to the more slimmed down earlier (and later?) cars. Still it's in the right colour, so I'm happy to go along with it. Not Chevy's best design, that is for sure. But it is a lot of performance for the money. I always figured the C5 was designed for an aging (and growing) customer base. A buddy moved up from a C4 to a C5 and loves it but then again, he nails the demographic I am sure they do but see below, I went in a different direction. Great model, I agree with your assessment of the 1:1. I think that feeling is unanimous, it's a bit out of step with other generations. There's definitely something lacking with the latest Vette though the model doesn't look too bad. The older front engine versions are much nicer. Will you be getting the 4 door Esval Vette America? New one is lost on me though its performance should get anyones respect. 4 door Corvettes are not my thing, that said i read where they are working on a Corvette themed SUV Next up, you guessed it, another Corvette. But this is the one I wanted most and waited the longest for as I got it from France and it took the very slow boat over. Ever since Tom showed hos I have been on this little Corvette kick. Couple more to go and I will complete the run. But the C7 is my favorite Corvette by a large margin, maybe i will pony up for the Spark but right now this one scratches the itch. Truthfully it is a good but not great model. #6 2017 C7 Corvette Z06 PW C6 & C7 C7 & C8 C8, C7 & C6

Too bad they put that front license plate on it. Other than that, looks like a decent model.

Congratulations on completing your set of road going Vettes. With that done, are you going to get the racing versions?

Nice Corvettes, I like them (well I am a Chevy owner) but the owners here in the UK are usually a but different from owners of the normal cars. Some years ago I took my Impala to a weekend event for older US vehicles and the Corvette club were holding their national event there too. I was introduced to I think the chairman of the UK Corvette club, he had a C2 but it was hors de combat so he had brought his '95 Impala SS. He took me for a ride in it, great car (still want one), I told him that I liked Corvettes but not so much the owners, I did mention chest wigs, gold chains, shirts more open that is necessary etc. He replied ouch but so true. Plus they don't seem to notice other US cars when they are out and about, a friendly wave is the norm but hardly ever from a Vette driver. Anyway still not sure about the C8, kind of reminds me of a Ferrari or McLaren plus do they have a flat plane crank? The ones I have heard on screen don't have that splendid V8 rumble like what my Impala does.

Looks like you've been bitten by the 'got to complete this' bug, Jeff! Excellent picks, but you knew I'd say that... love the yellow trio, yellow has become the iconic Corvette colour.
Funny, I've yet to meet someone who loves the C8. I think model collectors just buy them to get the entire set.

The C7 definitely had a harder look about it than the C6, and all the better for it.

I was in a local store yesterday and saw this Greenlight C4 in 1:43 (a themed model from 'The Big Lebowski). I thought it might fill a hole in your Vette collection if you didn't already have a C4.
